    EJ making me nervous

He may not be great, but he's a hell of a lot better than Nick. EJ has the potential to get better, where as I believe what we see is what we get with Nick. We'd all be making fun of Duke for relying on a Bucknell transfer as our low post presence. Sestina is UK's version of Luke May, who they...

    Looking like Mussleman to Arkansas

For a school that has had very little -intermittent success since the early to mid 90's, I think Arkansas fans should be ecstatic for any coach that's made the ncaaa tourney on a regular basis the past few years . Musselman would be a huge get, as well as the Wichita State coach. Texas Tech's...

    Villanova sliding

Didn't we lose 4 in a row last year with 2 NBA lottery picks on our team? I think Jay and Nova will be okay, just not this year.

    Fran Fraschilla: Is Dook slipping?

Should probably take a look at the 2020 class. Duke will undoubtedly have 1 or more underclassmen magically become eligible and skip their senior season (even if they're nowhere near physically mature or ready for college ball) if all of the '19 options head elsewhere. I'd be willing to wager...

    This team..

The one thing that nobody has mentioned yet, is the competition/field. We can be similar to any team from 2010 until now. The main issue is the strength of our competition. The Noel/Harrow team could have won it all if the majority and other top tier teams were a step below the norm (as well...

Do you still listen to KSR?

I quit listening after the Wisconsin loss in '15. Was a loyal listener up until that point. Not sure if it was anything that KSR did or if I just became somewhat disillusioned with college BBall after that game/season.

    Memphis with heavy interest...

I agree the Tubbster is a good man, and I'd love to see him succeed; however, every preseason we were told that this would be the year that the team runs more of an uptempo offense.....never happened though. Also, besides the money, is Memphis a step up from Texas Tech? At least Tech is in the...

LSU declines NIT invite. Simmons college career over

Wasn't it discussed during our NIT year that teams had to "opt in" prior to the season for an NIt invite and if so, there was no declining the invite? Wasn't it discussed that we couldn't decline the invite and that every team signs on for NIT almost by default each preseason?

“There’s no reason for me to get big-headed.” Deaaron Fox

There are point guards and shooting guards on the cellar dweller SEC teams that are bigger, stronger, and WAYYY more athletic than Tyler and Jamal. Yes, Fox and Monk are highly rated and will probably be special, but to say they may/will be as good or even better than the best tandem we've seen...

With Derek sidelined, This is Skal's chance to ...........

I would venture that Charles Mathews will/should benefit more from Willis being out than Skal.

    Briscoe's Rebounding

I have a feeling he's one of the kids that makes them in practice, but it doesn't "carry over" to games, per Cal's end of game speech. I think at some point during the tournament, just like Bledsoe, he'll have a hot shooting night.

Louisville most immortal school in usa

Love the thread and title. But it's going to be hard calling UL fans stupid after this one. Come on OP, don't make us look bad!

    Now That Florida is Back

But we could give a rats arse about any of the other sports. We are talking about college basketball and we are a basketball school. Always has been and always will be. And guess what: I'm completely fine with that.

#1 Oklahoma Down Very Late To KSU

Go ahead and kill me for saying so, but last year was pretty down as well. Wisconsin was not as good as they were the year before, Wichita State wasn't either. Duke was led by non transcendent freshman and got lucky. Notre Dame was a pretty good squad, but not remarkable. There's no way I would...

    Hield

I also liked how Vitale said it would be a crime if Simmons isn't in the tournament this year. After today's collapse, It's looking more and more likely that will be the case. But hey, LSU can still win the NIT.
