    Keeping him from holding future federal office would require an additional vote from the Senate. Highly unlikely Rs would convict on impeachment then vote to ensure he can’t run again. I still think impeachment is a good idea though as it sets a needed precedent.

    Still very much a conservative, Hoss. Just left the party when it became less about principles and more about celebrity. Country over party wasn't a very hard decision and I'm willing to endure the short term pain of living with democratic policies I disagree with to show Trump the door.
