    Fair end result. We probably lose versus Houston without the injury and we should have defeated NC State. High risk, high reward. Almost ACC title. Almost Final Four. Ultimately neither and a team that will likely be forgotten. Almost Scheyer's first memorable team. Onto next season.

    I watched the Arkansas '94 loss. My Duke Fandom heartbreak begins with 98-2000 teams. Kentucky double digit collapse, the boys responded with arguably greatest regular season only to lose in the Final. 99 is my grade school memory. I'm rambling. Love this message board and you gentlemen...

    OP, we had a Senior guard tonight. 3-Guard attack. We lacked size. Props to Mitchell being the 3rd Big. Kinda odd coincidence but Duke wins titles when we have Elite SFs. Wasn't the difference tonight.

    IMO we clearly didn't have the size to overcome a poor performance by one of our guards. We would get beat by Purdue/Uconn. Team stopped hitting shots and panicked. Started complaining to refs. We lost our cool. Admirable Tourney Run. Alot of positively to take forward.

    Unfortunately that's 2 Tourney losses to rivals. We weren't going to defeat Uconn or even Purdue. This was big miss by Scheyer to stamp FF on his young resume.
