    We had a game on turf in early May where we were pouring ice water down our catcher's shoes in between innings. His feet were cooking, and he couldn't move around to try and relieve the heat like the fielders were doing, plus his cleats had the molded bottoms.

    That’s the anti-super conference clause. Theoretically now at least two conferences would have to break off together, and take the Purdues, States, Marylands, etc with them. Haven’t sent the exact language to see how it blocks Texas, Ohio State, etc from leaving conferences altogether.
