with all those transfers, juco, grad. If cal adopts this and combines it with his high school recruiting it could revolutionize the game. No one is combining the two and cal has a chance to get back ahead of things. It’s the path I see to winning a couple more titles. Adopt the Texas tech model and combine it with the high end recruits and it will solve a lot of problems of youth Blah blah blah.

People seem to think that if Cal can get 7 McD's AA freshmen and 8 JUCO/Grad transfers, then we will be all peachy.
Same people seem to forget there are only 200 minutes available to be played by all members of a team during a regulation college game. Hard to convince a ton of either camp to come to UK when minutes will be limited due to such congestion.

There are a good amount of people on here who wouldn't be satisified if we signed every available player in CBB. They would still convince themselves we are missing 1 piece we really need. It's gotten embarrassing really. To supposedly be the greatest basketball fanbase in the world, we sure do have a lot of whiney pussies amongst us.
As our current roster stands, we aren’t winning a national title next year. I watched EJ and Nick enough to know that. PJ and Reid are gone. We were awful when they were out of the game this year. We lost about 80-90% of our scoring from last year. Return 1 starter. 1. I don’t understand the rationale about downing our fans because they want to add a few more players. That’s just being a fan.

And an Elite Eight. Better than we have done the last two years.
Tech isn’t a basketball power with tradition to sell and ridiculous resources. So acting like we are on an even playing field is misleading.
Also, Beard has only been there for three seasons. The program had never been to an Elite Eight before him and now he’s been to two.

The best coaches will be those that build the 3 and 4 year player and maximize their abilities.

We will likely be far better next year. If you think EJ and Nick are awful, obviosuly you don't know very much about basketball. Both have tons of ability and have demonstrated it. It's simply mental and maturity for both at this point. I watched them play together several times this season and liked a lot of what I saw.
Maxey could easily better than Herro. Whitney can be as good if not better than KJ.
We relied very heavily on PJ the last 2 years and we saw what it looked like without him. This team will have way more balance, which will take time to develop, but that is great in the long run.
We will have 6 veteran players, maybe a 7th if we add another transfer. And all of them played a good amount. That is incredible.
You add in development and improvement we always see and I think we have a great shot.

this place is sunshine pump city. I'm with you on the EJ and NR. they will both have 3 fouls in the first half next season if they are in the game at the same time. I hope they improve but they will have to do some serious time in the weight room and develop some since of urgency and toughness. both of them are just so passive it's insane.

That's because you don't seem to know what to look for. You can lose 4 starters and be better. We lost 8 players the year before and while we Kept Richards, he lost his starting spot. So we had 4 knew starters and were better. Which literally proves your theory wrong. We lost every starter from the 15-16 team and were far better in 16 -17. Would you disagree?
