Wow, Magic's interview was.. full of ********. He spun better than politicians. Saying how he has a great relationship with Buss and he did this to not ruin that relationship. How he would have stayed if the Lakers were in a BAD position for next year(?? They are).. but that because they're getting 1 maybe 2 max guys (again, his words), he felt he was in a position to leave..

Good lord. How stupid can one be? Give Towns Ben Simmons and a guard similar to the impact Joel makes, and put him in the weak *** Eastern conference, and he’d be in the playoffs as well. Idk how some people walk and breathe at the same time.
This was more about KAT making the playoffs without Jimmy, not about if Jimmy would be in the playoffs with Philly...but hey, thanks for jumping and stating something un-related.

Without KAT and just Jimmy, you do not know that the Wolves would make the playoffs. KAT not sign your kids ball or something?
The main concern is they won 47 games last year and made the playoffs, this year without Butler they only won 36 and obviously missed the playoffs. 11 games is a pretty big step backward for what was an up and coming team. There were some other personnel differences but Butler was far and away the biggest change.

The Lakers are an awful franchise, they damn near gave Luol Deng the max when he was washed. I dunno, maybe they'll give a 30 year old 18 point a game team cancer whose defense has fallen off a max contract or maybe theyll hire a competent GM. We'll see.
Obviously the Wolves need more talent after losing a 20 ppg scorer. They have two good efficient players in Kat and Rose. They are average to below average at PG SF Pf. There 3rd most efficient player is Gibson lol. They will not win until they find a big upgrade at SF and PG.
The team he is on went 52-30 last year w/o him and 50-31 this year with him. He’s good for -1.5 games so far. He’ll get the max as long as he asks Mr. Embiid nicely.

And yet, you seem to give KAT the full blame for not “leading” his team to the playoffs when he had a team cancer to start the season. Funny that.
Someone did the math with Minny's record with and without Butler this year. The win percentage without Butler would still have Minny below the Lakers for a season for the whole year.
