I believe it was 7 times that he was shown during one shining moment. For a team that didn't make the final 4, I can guarantee that shatters the record for most air time during one shining moment.

As much as I want to agree with you Ski I just cant.
Game was for a trip to the FF(at the time UK was in an 8 year FF dry spell) UK had just gone ahead on a banked in miracle floater by Woods over of all people 6’11 Laettner. only 2 tics remained and Duke had to go full length of the court. Duke was defending champions who had been #1 all season and UK had a bunch of local guys and Mashburn. It would have been the biggest win in UK history, even til this day and UK probably goes on to win it all but it just wasnt meant to be because Pimptino wouldnt put anyone on the ball!!!

I cried for two weeks straight after the shot and I was 25 years old.
That said and to me because of everything written above and the fact that Duke would go on to repeat as NCAA Champs, its the most iconic play in NCAAT history.

So petty, but we knew what it was gonna be before we watched it. Zion had more footage than any one team combined. Duke had 40% of the footage. I think I saw UK once. Thanks Tyler. No bias though. None. Duke is college basketball. Just eat it and accept it. They are gonna force it down our throats.
