Tubby might be the only coach to have won a championship and leave the team they won with for another college team.

That’s why I don’t expect any championship coach to jump unless it’s for the NBA.

The Pac-10 is horrible. He can stay in a competitive conference at a job without a ton of pressure. There's no upside for him to take that job.

UCLA is not the job it once was. Look at how many coaches have had the job over the last 20 years. This is a program that is living on it’s history of the mid 60’s to mid 70’s. Sure, they have had some successful seasons since that time with 1 title in ‘95. LA is, and forever will be, a pro sports town.

Bennett has made Virginia into a powerhouse in an era where Duke and North Carolina are as strong as ever. What he has done that is nothing short of A miracle, I don’t think he leaves for UCLA, Kentucky, Duke North Carolina, etc.

Pearl would be a good hire, he has the flair that would do well in LA but he has the risk of being possibly implicated in this whole FBI mess. Who knows what else the FBI has

If you want people to support UCLA basketball then you better hire someone that runs an entertaining brand of basketball. There are to many other things to pique their interest out there. Probably why college basketball out west sucks in general.
