I’m sorry, would Auburn winning a championship suddenly end the media’s love affair with the ACC? No, it wouldn’t. Would Auburn winning the championship suddenly make an SEC title next year mean more nationally for us to win it? No, it wouldn’t.
If Florida winning back to back doesn’t even make a dent in respect for the SEC, nothing will. So screw the rest of the conference.

A lot of people on here thought Virginia would beat Auburn bad, I never thought that. The way they had been playing lately I thought they could beat anybody. You don't beat the last three teams they beat and then get blown out. I've seen way to many games to know that, Auburn should have won this game, even without their best player. Mental break downs in the last few seconds will cost you big time, they found that out.

I'm glad they lost fouling the 3 pt shooter at the end, just they way they advanced in their first game. The no-call on the double dribble was icing on the cake. They got hot and went on a run, and we'd have never heard the end of it if they'd finished it. It's still going to be bad enough because Bruce will still pretend he won the 'ship.

It works in Fball bowl games and thats about it. Talley the conference records, NCAAB is a single victor tournament. Nobody cares about how many S16 teams your conference has next year.
It is what it is, but Auburn was clearly a legitimately good team. They were ranked top 10 earlier in the year before hitting a rough stretch and dropping. But after beating KU, UNC, UK, and being seconds away from beating Virginia, I think it’s safe to say they were better than a 5 seed.

Overlooked.. the guy that was money down the stretch at the line missed one that would have gave auburn a 3 pt lead.
