That was a battle. I hate that the bracket had to be set up so that we had to play before the final 4. From watching all the games, there is not a doubt in my mind UK advances out of at least 2 of the other brackets. Unfortunate that the SEC could only get 1 team in.

You guys should be very proud of how hard your guys fought, particularly PJ. For him to come back from a serious injury and play as well as he did Friday and today is legendary.

Early in the year it looked like this might not be a great season for UK after the Seton Hall loss. Credit to Cal for once again finding a way to get his team to gel by January and put together a great season. Losing in OT in the tourney is brutal, but you will be back contending for another final 4 next season.

Thanks bro! UVA forces teams to shoot over their zone. If we are shooting our season % or higher from deep, I think we will have a shot. Found a way to beat a drastically more talented team today despite shooting 15% worse from deep than we did Friday though so I have given up on saying what this team can or can't do.

Nice post. Be forewarned that the immature segment of the fanbase is out in full force right now, so I'm sure there will be some embarrassing posts in this thread. But good luck next week. You guys earned it.

what's embarrassing is coming to the team's board that you just beat to look for adulation under the guise flattery. Kentucky just lost a freaking heartbreaker go to your own board, your own social media, oh wait, you have none. Go talk to a wall. Then we have one our own take the bait hook, line, and sinker and praise the guy and Auburn.

Nope. NCAA cleared all of our players to play after their suspension. Nothing for us to worry about unlike all the other teams that played their players implicated in the investigation. Also important to remember there was never any allegation we paid a recruit, all our 2 guys were current players a coach was steering to a financial adviser. That's a big difference from Will Wade bidding on high school recruits.

I've been a perfectly good sport. Started a whole thread on my respect for UK basketball in fact. I respond in kind to how I'm spoken to.

Thanks man! I won't let it get ugly though as I am being sincere in my thoughts towards UK and the season they put together. UK is an incredible program and we look up to your hoops tradition.

Thanks guys! Sucks the bracket worked out so that we had to meet today and prevent 2 SEC teams from making the final 4. UK is in the final 4 if they were in any of the other regions.

Going to be very tough for us to win without Chuma. We match up much better with UVA though than we did with UK. Just have to hope we return to hot shooting and can rain 3s over their zone.

Agreed. I would bet this is the best game of the tournament in terms of how it hung in the balance for so long. Either team could have won today with a few more bounces.

Thanks man! It was a hard fought game. I know some of your guys didn't have their best day, but I am in awe of what PJ did on a bum foot. That dude is a warrior.

Auburn has great players that are really easy to pull for and you seem like a nice guy - but come on you have one assistant on his way to prison and your coach - lol - has refused to cooperate with his own schools investigation. At any other school he’d have been fired but Auburn sets the standard for rule breaking across the board. Your school has no ethics at all.

UGA beating y’all 11/14 games in football has been really enjoyable. Cheating doesn’t pay.

Bruce cooperated with the investigation once his attorneys told him to do so. Our assistant coach was taking bribes to get guys to leave school early. That was certainly not helping our team's chances of winning. There has never been any allegation we paid a recruit, unlike all the other teams caught up in the FBI deal. Chuck is a POS for what he did and he will be punished accordingly.

IDK, there were some exciting matchups at the lower levels.

Earlier watched last years miracle 16-1 win bynUMBC over UVA. That one will be etched in marble forever.

Oh yeah, agreed. There have no been any real iconic buzzer beaters or massive upsets this year. This was the most hard fought game I saw the entire tournament.

PJ played his heart out on an aching foot. Hoping for the best for Okeke. Gotta tell you though I’m pulling for the Red Raiders because of a girl I once knew. As I said yesterday in I thought one of my better posts in years she engineered my chemistry. But go War Eagles. Or is it Tigers?
