You have to be total newb to take anything from these games. EJ was the 2nd or 3rd best big man in these all star games last year for example. You just can't take much away beyond this is guy is fast or fat ect.
Honest to god, I used to be one of the people who pumped the brakes on ESPN Duke bias; like “let’s all relax, the bias is a little present, but they talk up everybody.”
It’s been ridiculous in this broadcast. It might as well have been titled “Duke infomercial with meaningless game playing in background.” Just nauseating. I’m out.

Exactly. I haven’t paid very much attention to recruiting this year at all, so I don’t know many guys other than the UK signees, but they were talking about Wendell Moore or whatever like he was the next Zion. Gimme a break.

What I was saying is his effort was more than everyone else on his team, he just wasn't making the shot. If he makes a couple of those you, and others watching, notice that and not just the missed shots. Maxey's bringing it in a meaningless game while others are just jogging.
The worst part about this game is that the announcers won't shut up. It's like trying to watch a basketball game in the middle of a talk show.

high school all star games will be broadcast until the end of time without showing who is on the floor and who just scored at all times
All the Zion talk makes me puke. I know it was the same with Davis, but not even close to the same as it is with Zion since he’s with puke
ESPN has made this game unwatchable. When they shut up long enough from touting Duke, then they do a 5 minute interview with Vince Carter. You can't tell who is making plays. It is just horrible.
Bingo. I mean has there ever been a more Duke player in your life. I don't think UK would take a player that dorky . I mean it hurts to look at that kid.
The hoop summit is great to watch and the Jordan game is pretty fun too but this game is horrible every year now.
