First and goal Duke...

The shot clock violation was about as blatant as you can get. The shot from above the backboard showed it didn’t hit the rim as clear as day.

Also the person I was responding to said “Duke wasn’t going to be allowed to lose” when Duke could have very easily lost that game even with the refs supposedly swallowing their whistle.

This is not true. The shot from above did not show the ball until it was below the rim making it appear that it didn't hit. The view from the front showed the ball slightly change direction. Clearly not indisputable and the call stood.

Don't care about the alleged hook and hold. You can say the Zion block/charge was a judgment call and it was even though it definitely was a charge if any call was to be made.

What IS indisputable is that Barrett clearly pushed off to get that rebound and basket. Refs were not going to call anything at that point. They cannot control what players do as far as making shots but they can call/ignore court actions. They deliberately did not call that although they had to see it. We can argue all day about why.

If you've watched Duke games at all you're not surprised. The thing is, Taylor was slightly bumped on his shot. Now I'm OK with that not being called but I'm 200% certain that if the situation was reversed and Jones was driving in that situation it would have been called.

This is not true. The ball never changed direction until it hit the backboard. Every angle showed this. There was no two handed push by Barrett just a failure by UCF to block out.

So Dawkins stepped in to block out and decided for the first time in his life he would just take a couple
Steps forward under the hoop?

You are right. He pushed with just ONE hand.

Not to mention the "hook and hold."

This play has been reviewed ad nauseum all season and for Duke to win it isn't. Sorry pal.

His perception of reality is under review,we all saw the plays in question,we have seen countless replays, still screen shots and reviews what occurred is clear and beyond reasonable debate. You can make a better case for the existence of Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin.

Every fans perception of reality is warped. That’s spawns for you. If you think yours and other Kentucky fans aren’t biased in this as well you’re just naive.

Tacko should have fouled out well before that last one. It was an egregious foul on Zion at that. It was clear. Of course nobody talks about that because it doesn’t fit the narrative. As it should be because this is a UK board. So I have to do it.

I love how you keep using the term egregious - like you think we really give a ****. We don’t. Get out please; let us talk bad about Duke on our UK board. What the hell is wrong with you losers over head trying to get us straight or something? You’re confused about where you are and what is happening here.

It was bad. It was 1988 Detroit Pistons bad. It wasn’t even a borderline judgement call type of situation. Yet and still, young Zion persevered. You should give a damn. It was the epitome of heart and passion

I didn't watch the game and won't watch their next one but to ignore the obvious on the replay is simply dishonest. But on the way home I see a Ford truck with a Puke trailer hitch cover that parks in front of a house flying a UC flag. Plenty of frauds in Cake as well.

I enjoyed seeing ESPN.com display this game score w/gratuitous pic of celebrating Zion on main page the entire evening into the next day.

For the record, for EVERY SINGLE OTHER GAME OF THE TOURNEY, espn has the current game as the main landing page. In this case they just left Zion up til the next day.

In the age of Meuller reports, I guess I’m just hyper sensitive to media outlets trying to push a narrative.
