Cry it all out. What kind of miserable person would be so passionate about saying Herro won’t be good in the NBA? I think I know the motivation.......... Woody Harrelson can’t jump.
Herro is the key to #9 as he can beat you shooting threes, beat you shooting twos, beat you shooting FTs, beat you with assists, beat you rebounding and beat you with his defense.
Wrong... he will be fine. Hawks have a rookie from Maryland who was 19th pick, Kevin Huerter, who shoots the ball great and has a lot of similar traits as Herro and Kevin has been a great pickup and Herro has a Motor that does not stop.
Herro can also go to the basket.
A NBA player doesn't have to be an all star to make a bushel basket full of cash.
By the way he can rebound, play pretty good defense and has more than one "spot".

Just as I stated in another thread. They put the best 3 point shooting teams in our region: Wofford, Houston and Auburn. Thing is, our biggest weakness all year had been defending the 3. They always match us up with teams that are best equipped to exploit our deficiencies. Same ****, different year.

If they played defense in the NBA like they did in college you may have a point but what I have seen from today’s NBA, shots are pretty easy to come by. Admittedly I don’t watch much like I used to but from what I have seen, Herro will do just fine.

NBA doesn’t play “zone”. And Herro will be far from the #1 option on any Offense he is a part of.
I really credit him for how much better he has gotten this season. One of the most improved I’ve seen a UK Frosh develop in one season in a while. I am inclined to credit that to work ethic. Which, if he applies the same after he starts getting a paycheck, then odds are we have yet to see final form Herro.
Hero has incredible touch around the basket. His shots always seem to have just the right amount of English to make it in. He also uses the glass very effectively.

You said he couldn’t even create his own shot in college insuating it will be even tougher at the next level. Defense is much more aggressive at the collegiate level than NBA. Also not as if Herro will not continue to improve, he is still only 18 or 19 years old.
Decent points. Once you get to the nba playoffs, it gets pretty obvious who is actually good though. You won’t be able to throw cute shots off the glass at the rim. He will primarily be a shooter when it actually matters.
But can you retain and then apply it at appropriate times?
You are an excellent example that "leave no one behind", despite the many weaknesses, is a partial success.

You don't have to be great off the bounce to be great in the NBA. Look at Klay Thompson, JJ Reddick are two that come to my mind. Neither are great at taking you off the bounce but Klay is an all star every year. You could be right but I think you are putting way too much emphasis on taking someone off the dribble.
He’ll have 15 footers available all day in the nba. He will make millions also just from his midrange game which is unstoppable.

One thing I personally disagree with. He will not be fun to watch at the next level. No one is. I have yet to see Booker attempt one shot in the NBA.

False. Lamb could hit 3's and an occasional floater but couldn't finish around the rim like Tyler. Also, Lamb was too lazy to make it in the NBA where Tyler seems to have a great work ethic and wants to improve.
Dumb post. He won’t be an NBA all-star either. Herro is constantly creating his own shots. If anything, the worst part about his game is spot up shooting. How often does he miss off the bounce compared to spot up shooting. He’s almost always better off the bounce.

Nobody in the fan base thought Booker could be a standalone all star (in PHX of all places) when he left.
Herro has the potential to be Klay Thompson-lite with his size as long as he lands on the right team. He's developing hot spots (short corner pull up J) and has shown his versatility as a two way player. Conditioning/mechanics all improve once he can focus on his game as a professional.
