21 straight wins and my eyeballs tell me those dudes can shoot with no space needed. Their center is solid as well. Going to be a fun one
It will be interesting to see us play defense against a team who we know going in does nothing but shoot 3s.

Wofford is actually really good. They are a nasty 7 seed. Make no mistake.
You make their guard have to guard. They shouldn’t be able to guard our guards. Post up Herro and Johnson up if you want. We have huge advantage, should take it, but we won’t play like that.
Same. I won’t go back and see who it was that acted like I was crazy....but I got a lot of push back for pointing out Wofford was the most under seeded team in the tournament and was 19th overall and 13th offensively in Kenpom.

Yeah they lost to 3 of the 4 teams they played who were good by 9 and KU by 24 I think.
Its not their height that gives UK the advantage it is the fact they don't have a single athlete even Herro's level much less Hagans or KJ .

Most of these same people beat their chests about UK basketball during the regular season and then wet themselves over mid major's every tourney.
Pretty sure the main reason is due to pj not playing. If we were full strength I wouldn’t be worried. But we aren’t so I am.

They were seeded correctly. Meaning they're pretty good, but not like the top-tier of the SEC, and not like the best OOC teams UK played. More like Florida or Louisville, at best.
Yeah, the problem is see is that Seton Hall did everything they could to be right on those 3 point shooters and they still got shots off and made them.
If Wofford hits 13 threes and makes 19/23 FT it’s not going to matter what they are ranked or who they beat before, they will beat UK as well.

First, tomorrow'' game will be a guard's game.cwe have way too much size for Wofford even without PJ. It's all about guarding the three point line. Cal will pressure the ball all the way down the court to make Wofford work for every pass they make.
Reid Travis, Montgomery, Keldon and Richards will own the paint.
Expect Wofford to hit threes, they're the best in the country at that, but I don't know what us fans are going yo do about it.
The big issue for me is, you ALL know this UK team leaves guys wide open on the perimeter. Regularly.
I wouldn’t say cheated, but the other 2 seeds aren’t going to face a ranked 7 seed like UK will (and also did in 2017).
What’s their defensive efficiency? They’ve done it against much softer competition.
They are good and can beat us, but if we can’t beat them with five + 5 Star caliber guys, we never deserved to be considered a title contender in the first place.
Cincinnati is a tough 7 for UT. They are physical and have the POY in their conference.
Herro is extremely athletic. Dunno how anyone could draw any other conclusion. wow.
UK SHOULD also get to shoot a ton of 1's. SHOULD. They'll dominate the paint, and that, along with athleticism should draw a bunch of fouls.
