I haven't followed the PJ injury threads, but some poster on phog who lives in Kentucky posted that he heard he tore a ligament in his foot:

If you are picking UK to go deep...

Word from some people around here is that he tore a ligament in his foot and that UK already knows he will be out for the tourney. I've been living here in Kentucky for the last two years, so I do have some acquaintances and friends in the UK Big Blue Mafia. I'm told that is the reason that they have already put it in a hard cast.

Just passing along some info. TIFWIW.

Did you notice that his cast was OVER his pants? Looked to be a VERY TEMPORARY cast. Also if his pain was really a 10 he wouldn't have been smiling, laughing, cheering on his team. He would have been in tears or past out from the pain. I feel like he isn't going to be playing this weekend, but that he could possibly play next weekend. They are making it seem like he's out for good so that the sweet sixteen game team wouldn't plan to play against PJ if PJ is able to come back.
