why Lunardi has UNC comfortably as a 1 seed, and us as a 2 seed? We basically have the same record and we beat them on a neutral floor. I don't understand.

What I like is that dukes losses without Zion don’t count against them...but UNC’s 2 wins against duke without Zion basically guarantee them a 1
Joke , The entire ESPN/NCAA thing is corrupt as hell.

Um, if the Vols win tomorrow and aren't a 1 seed, the SEC will have gotten completely hosed by the Committee. Both UT and UK have 1 seed resumes in a typical year - I realize UK isn't getting one.
I believe they already are. They have 2 wins over UK and they beat Gonzaga.

No, they cannot. The Committee has already chosen UNC as a 1. They announced there was only has ONE 1 seed to fill on Friday. Gonzo was selected for that seed after we lost today. Only our hearts has us as a one, and the committee did NOT want to give us Louisville under ANY circumstance. Looks like we start in Jacksonville with Tennessee and Cincinnati fans watching our games and cheering whoever we play...of course.
Yep, the ESPN honks talk out both side of their mouths and use whatever twisted logic they see fit to justify pimping an ACC team. I'm also starting to suspect that Lunardi's job is less about predicting and more about pushing whatever the NCAA is planning to do regarding matchups and seeding.

This is a great post and is 100 percent truth. In every criteria one can come up with we should be placed above UNC. I hope dumb Joe is wrong, but sometimes I wonder if the selection committee even follows college basketball....They probably just have Joe call them on a special line and inform them of the worthy teams and the unworthy ones.
Seeding for top lines is done. Sunday means nothing. They know who their top 4 seeds and regions they'll be in already.
