As bad as it hurts my Kentucky Pride to say so..... Critical Turnovers to let the Vols get back some momentum and keep them in the game..... Our inexperience showed itself and an experienced team took advantage of it.......

Guards definitely hurt us today. I like Hagans but the guy just doesn't have to be guarded, that will hurt us in the tournament.
If by choked you mean the refs completely stole the game, I agree with you.

Neither are NBA 1st rounders this year. Not sure Hagans would get drafted at all right now. Both can be first rounds if they stick around another year or two but not right now. Tonight it showed. They both got eaten alive by less talented players who are more developed.
It was the refs and stall ball that caused them to lapse. Chill out
We did and probably should have put IQ in as a third ball handler, but the MVF (most valuable flopper) really stepped up for UT. That flop on the KJ lockout for three was a defining moment of the game

We snatched a loss from the jaws of victory .. yes we choked .. Herro Choked .. Hagans/Johnson choked .. PJ choked .. they all choked , esp our leader .. Cal choked biggest of all.

Tennessee was tired and on the verge of giving up, but we decided to slow everything down and Tennessee got their legs back.
We started playing clock with 6 minutes to go. Never fails and he will never learn. Certainly don’t blame him for player turnovers, missed shots, and timely poor ref calls but good lord you can’t start playing clock with 6 minutes to go.

STFU calling people "trolls" and ******** names for people telling the freaking truth. We DID choke, we DID quit playing with 2:58 to go, we DID blow an 8 point lead in a minute and a half, etc etc....and this is March not November or December.
He does his job well, but it's not good enough for this particular team. This team needs scoring, which is something he doesn't provide.
Do you think they are? By the way, I don't expect the Freshmen to be. It's what happens when you don't have more experience. UT is uber-experienced and that helped them.
Championship caliber teams respond well to adversity. Giving up a 8 point lead with 3 minutes left is a choke. Even with refs calling crap all game long we built that lead. I think we thought the game was over with 3 minutes left. Plus, Cal ALWAYS plays not to lose with a lead late in the game. Again, that approach comes back to bite us in the ***.
