Duke right now is not a top 15 team. Getting Zion back I think puts them back in the top 10 but that is about it especially sinc Bolden is probably done for the year. UK UNC UVA and Gonzaga are the 1 seeds .

Nope we do need to beat LSU on Saturday though. We do that we are locked in as the 3rd overall seed.

With Zion or not, Duke and UNC will be set up to only meet in a possible championship. In 2015 they put Notre Dame who had won 30+ games, ACC title and had beaten Duke 3 times as the 3 seed in our region. Kansas was our 2 and the region we had for the FF was matched with Wisconsin, Arizona etc. Duke had a much easier route and we were overall undefeated #1.

With Zion and Bolden down does K have any other redshirts out there? I'm sure he won't mind ruining another kids’ eligibility to try to salvage the rest of this season.

Not to us, but most everyone else doesn't pay attention though and thinks Cal is a bigger cheater because ESPN said so...

Best case rest of way might be something like this

Kentucky wins SEC tournament beating Tennessee along the way
Louisville knocks off North Carolina in the quarters depriving Duke a shot at a win over them
Duke then beats Louisville but loses to Virginia

The hopes of this would be for the committee to give Kentucky the #1 in the South and Duke #1 in the MW.

We get the coveted seed and region and Duke is not in our bracket nor even in our final 4 side.

#1 Virginia
#2 Gonzaga
#3 Kentucky
#4 Duke

Not a UNC- and UNC should be punished- but people still have Wooden at #1 with Gilbert, so obviously people don't care about UNC, which is sad....

I know Duke didn’t have Zion but UNC looks like a team nobody should want to play right now.

Interesting stat...

That loss just put Duke at 14-4 in the conference. None of Coach K's national title teams ever lost more than 3 ACC games.
