Exactly why Quade was so important to this team. Would have taken a lot of pressure off Hagans.
You mean we are not allowed to recognize when players are struggling. Put your head out of the sand. It happens all the time.
The team started to gel right around when he made the decision to transfer...
You can only play 5 guys at a time. There was never going to be a situation where Quade was happy and the team was thriving. That’s how it works sometimes.
Well I mean minus the 2nd half and all the the UT game. LOL. Yes he had a bad stretch but that happens sometimes.

It’s a crazy drug. This one time I went to Willy’s and Spear had just bought a few shards of glass. We tried it and the next thing I know I’m seeing Quade Green in the middle of the huddle after a timeout in the championship with 4 seconds to go. It’s our ball, and he tells Cal, I got dis. And Cal gave him a long look and said, it’s your game kid. And they both shook their heads in agreement at the same time and stood there staring at each other with some soft music playing.
Then I woke up and Quade was, well, I don’t know where Quade is.
Without his 12 points today, we lose. He didn't have a great game distributing the ball, this is true. He did just have a great game against Tennessee, though. And his scoring tonight was critically important.
He was fine the 2nd half. Theres always a wall for rookies. Cal has done better than most at getting freshman through that. But keep in mind Hagans reclassified. I think he is as good as we saw him before this "slump" he just has to learn how to be consistent. He'll be there for us when we need him in March. Hes a gamer. Im honestly more concerned about bringing IQ along. He was solid for us tonight.
Are you serious or being sarcastic? Losing Quade was the best thing that happened to this team.
Didn't get to watch the game but he must have shot well tonight which is a plus but we know he is turnover prone with 4 tonight along with 2 assists. I'll watch the replay tomorrow but I think he'll be alright.

If it wasn't for his defense I'd rather see Johnny David on the floor. He provides zero on offense. It's actually becoming a statistical anomaly. The ball will have to go thru the net for him at some point just out of sheer chance I would think.
There is a big difference between a player is "struggling" and "sucks"......that is the difference in being one who criticizes and one who is just pointing out facts....[cheers]
Haggans just played a major role in leading UK to a huge win over Tennessee. The kid should still be high school. He’s a young freshman still improving and In light of all these undisputed facts you post he sucks?

You are clueless. Quade leaving is the only reason that Hagans has progressed so quickly, and why the team is where it is.
Yes i watched. Didn't change his play. Why is this hard for some fans? It's true. He's going through a tough stretch whether you like to hear it or not. Some fans need a safe place to curl up into.

If quade wasn’t making shots he basically was useless. Couldn’t defend, couldn’t pass, couldnt handle the ball with pressure. He was 2 guard in a point guards body. He’ll fit in perfect in the pac 12, sec was just to physical and athletic for him.
Seriously, read better dude? Why don’t you write better. I.e. “suckin” is not “sucks”. Pitiful. Hagans has been one of the main reasons this team took off to significant improvement after Quade left. Pay attention and stop dumping on our players because young freshmen don’t meet your expectations.
and he's been playing poor lately. It's ok to say it. say it with me. Hagan's has been struggling for several games. ahhhh that wasn't too hard was it.
When I watch him now I feel like he read all the hype and is over doing it a bit on the defensive end. He got all the media attention especially after the UNC-Cheats game with his steals or impacting turn-overs and now it looks like if he doesn't get a pick he tries to reach when the steal is not there. It also appears that he sees all the offense going on with other players and at a certain point decides it is his turn to do that drive to the basket for himself. It was a problem in the Duke game that he would penetrate and even get right to the basket but could not finish the shot. There still is some of that occuring. However, when he relaxes a bit and doesn't press on either end of the court he is very good.
