They were at the monitor already reviewing whether or not he got it off in time. It’s not as if going to the monitor even extended the game in that situation. While they were seeing if he got it off in time they could have also saw it was goaltending.

I'd say make it reviewable only on game ending plays. Like under 10 seconds. I don't think fouls should ever be reviewable, there are too many and they are too subjecting. Basket interference is not subjective. It's well defined and obvious.

A lpt of great memories at Memorial. Took swimming lessons there in the mid 80s as a youngin, Cub Scouts did a lot of things there like Polar Plunge and Pinewood Derbies....UK can afford to put a game or two in Memorial for the hell of it for first come first serve fans. Always thought they should do a “students” game, maybe against a lesser foe, instate school. I’m pretty sure UK could make up the difference money wise from lack of ticket sales compared to Rupp. They could schedule the game, let the students have first priority and anything remaining goes on public sale.

Yes and they could / should very easily have 4 losses. Louisville and Florida State had them in their sites. Just blew it. They are not as good as the UNLV team, and they lost, so while Duke is very good, they are not this super team.
