I HATE orange.
I HATE Rocky Top.
I HATE those stupid orange striped pajama pants.
I HATE how rude and arrogant their fans are.
I live outside of Knoxville and I HATE listening to their sports announcers.
I HATE “bottom!”
I HATE Smokey.
I love my husband but I HATE that he is one of those obnoxious UT fans. Does the Smokey howl right there in my living room.
I HATE that every time Kentucky loses I have to listen to the gloating down here.
They may beat us Saturday - but I HATE the fact that they are acting like they are going to steamroll us.
Ugh.
Please, please for the love of all that is good and decent - please let us beat this stinking orange team.

I feel your pain but UT is really good and they have veteran players that won’t let Rupp bother them in the least. Hopefully we get the W but this is going to be a hard one.

  1. I realize they are good, but what is a little lost in the convo. is they haven't played a Top 25 ranked team since Dec. 9th. We have played 6 in the same time frame going 5-1. Almost 6-1 with Miss St just out last time at 26th.
  2. Since Tn played a ranked opponent on Dec. 9th they have played: Memphis, Samford, WF, TN Tech, Mizzo, GA, FL, ARK, Bama, Vandy, WVU, SC, A&M, Mizzo, FL and SC. Not exactly murders row.
  3. Also, TN hasn't had to play Miss St, KY, LSU or AUB once yet.
  4. TN has only beaten 2 ranked teams in U6 and the Zags.
  5. Just saying.

If no key players get in foul trouble I like our chances.

We are coming off a loss, everyone is pissed off and Cal hasn’t lost two in a row at Rupp.

Plus UT has escaped a couple Ls here in the past few weeks so they are due for a L.

1 loss (OT to a healthy KU). That's tough, especially being ranked #1.

I fully expect to lose Sat and split the series. More worried about losing at LSU. That game will probably be for the season champ with LSU's weak remaining schedule. Good luck Sat.

You do realize you guys have only beaten 2 ranked teams in the Zags and U6 right? Not saying your not good, just that you really haven't played much of anyone. We have beaten Miss St twice, AUB, UNC, U6, and KU.

Anyone like Seton Hall and Bama?

I get your point, but it's still hard to not give a game up somewhere when weve been #1 for weeks. We probably beat KU if Grant doesnt foul out. Again, fully expect to lose Sat, but using our schedule to say we are weak is a weak argument. Look at the stats. #1 assist and #2 fg percentage. Opponents fg% is up there too.

Just sayin...

Your SOS is 70th. Ours is 22nd. You haven't played Miss St, LSU, AUB or Ky once yet. You have played 3 ranked teams going 2-1 and not played a ranked team since Dec. 9th. That's over 2 months. We have also beaten KU, Miss St twice, AUB, UNC, and U6.

I didn't say you weren't good. I'm just saying you have played a soft *** schedule for over 2 months. Look who you have played: Since Tn played a ranked opponent on Dec. 9th they have played: Memphis, Samford, WF, TN Tech, Mizzo, GA, FL, ARK, Bama, Vandy, WVU, SC, A&M, Mizzo, FL and SC. Not exactly murders row.

Just sayin...SEC officiating bailed you out of two conference loses. We lost to Bama at Bama, they had you beat on your own floor. Seton Hall is much better than Vandy and I don’t care what the record says, Vandy beat you all even with the flopper shooting 23 free throws.[/QUOTE]

I ain't talking down anyone. I am stating the facts Tn hasn't played a ranked opponent since Dec 9th over 2 months ago. In that time we have beat UNC, UL, Miss St twice, KU, and AUB. You guys haven't even played anyone close to that level in over 2 months. It's just a fact.
