-i pretty much dig all food. Exept sweet potatoes/yams.

-organ meat(youre welcome doc) is the bees knees. Nothing beats a good country pate. Dont sleep on marrow bone.

Middle Eastern is fine, but you're just getting cute ranking it above Mexican and Italian. Japanese as well, IMO, but at least that could be debatable.

And you left off Spam. I'm sorry Doc, but you just don't know **** about how food tastes.

I prefer Mediterranean food to Mexican by a huuuuuuuge margin. (Picture Larry David's huge ****** hand gesture). Mexican food is just the McDonald's of sit-down restaurants -- it is always at least pretty good and pretty much everyone at least likes it.

Italian is incredible when done well and slop when not. But still pretty good slop.

I don't think Dr. Boat is wrong here.

Middle Eastern food is very heavy and carb loaded, with lots of undesirable parts of goat and lamb (such as cooked intestines) with heavy spices in order to make the animal last as long as possible due to lack of money. Don’t know about ranking it at the top of the list but to each their own I guess.

We can all agree Irish food is awful though, I would hope.

And Ethiopian food is god awful, one of the few types of food where I can’t even bring myself to try it again.

Almost every historical cuisine is carb heavy with an emphasis on using every part of the animal.

Learn everybody's ancestors were poor. Which sort of makes Dr. Boat's stance that steak is the best cuisine oddly brilliant.

The amount of stress BKH endures. Jesus Christ. Tremendous guy with unwavering support for his teams. More than commendable. There's a window there for a big overhaul but the demonstrated lack of competence with that ownership/management is ridiculous.

Saag is from the Indian subcontinent. It is South Asian cuisine, not Middle Eastern.

Barring “Steak” as a cuisine, Indian food is the tops and everything else is fighting for second.

Seafood is the lowest in all cases. “Oh this fish is great. It doesn’t have a fishy taste!”... “Oh this steak is unreal. It doesn’t have a steaky taste at all!” (Could you imagine?)

GTFOH with your Lenten fish necessity, Papists.

  • Fresh Wild Salmon tastes like salmon and is freaking delicious.
  • There is a **** ton of bad Indian food out there. Pretty sure Louisville doesn’t have a single good Indian place.
  • The “This fish doesn’t taste fishy” routine is a) unoriginal and b) a weak take. There are fish (like mackerel, sardines, herring) that taste fishy as hell. There are others (grouper, sea bass) that are very mild and have a nice flavor and texture. Do better.

Lake Cumberland grouper is some of the best meat I’ve ever tasted. Fresh, fried, and wonderful. Smooth and mellow, delicate but savory. It’s basically freshwater sea bass.

I’m going back for more next weekend.
