The McD's AA game has become more about PC and balance than strictly the top players IMO. There's always some 40 something ranked player on a traditional BB power (UNC, KU, etc) that sneaks in that shouldn't be on the games radar. Its the high school version of the NBA all start game.

Meanwhile a higher ranked player doesn't get the call because they picked a lesser school or other off the court issues. So this years top omissions by design are...

LaMelo Ball (No. 13) not even nominated for selection. USC signee Onyeka Okongwu (No. 17), Memphis signee D.J. Jeffries (No. 23), and Oregon signee C.J. Walker (No. 24)

Nike hoops summit is much better in how the players are selected and a highly competitive game.

The newest ESPN rankings has him at 33. He plays for a local team near me so I've been able to see him play several times.
He may never play there anyway if Louisville
gets the death penalty in basketball which is likely since they had more violations when they were already on probation.

I hope he doesn't, I was shocked that he chose Louisville, just doesn't seem like a an ideal fit for his kind of game.

Marahall Plumlee was a McDonald's All-American and was ranked 93rd. I remember as I was so disgusted when it happened.
