So unless there was another angle we didn't see, I don't think there was enough to overturn that out of bounds call. I mean, I *think* it was off FSU but I didn't see enough evidence to say for sure.

They had two angles, one from underneath the basket and the other looking straight down the basket. It was definitely the right call on the overturn. Hate to see Duke win but the call was right and Reddish knockeddown the J. If only FSU player saves the missed FT long, it’s game over.

That was not a Coach K genius play, for those who gloat over those things. That was a very bad defensive breakdown that left Duke's best 3 point shooter wide open.

I’d like to know what K included when he sold his soul to the devil. They don’t lose in the situations ever. Going back to 1992. It makes me sick. We all know had that been herro, he would of hit the backboard

Indiana in 2002, UK in 98, uconn in 99, uconn in 2004, and many others I'm sure. Those are just tourney losses in super close games. I'm not even paying attention to recent years losses or regular season losses.

Watch that play in slmo like I did for about 20 times. Watch how many screens and decoys. Reddish was option 1. The white guy screens for him and you have the cutter who is wide open too if they switch. Great plays make for bad defensive switches.

They just said he played less than 16 minutes in the game. They won without him playing the majority of the game.

Pound sand, douchebag.

FSU outscored duke by 1 with Zion playing 16 minutes in the first half and got outscored by 3 in the 2nd hal without him playing at all. Perhaps Duke is better with Zion on the bench.

There is only one ball. When Zion does the scorring it affects Reddish most.

Hate to admit it, but this is why Coach K is the best Basketball coach of all time. 9/10 coaches are going to get it in toward the basket for a layout or foul. Heck. Calipari would probably not even got a shot off. Makes me sick to see Duke do this, but K is very very good during the game.

Disagree. The cutter was covered & the defensive player #14 followed him anyway instead of following the shooter. Defender #14, could have easily followed Reddish. Barret was option #1 & decoy.

But believe what you want, that great coaching always wins games. Coaches get way too much credit in a win in that situation & way too much blame win they lose in that situation.

Yep. Coaching matters. Coach K makes Duke scary. Yes, Zion, RJ, and Cam are great players, but couple that with Coach K, and you get what you saw tonight and what you saw on November 6. Could they lose in the tournament? Sure. But coaching matters.

You need to watch it again. 14 was screened by the white guy. He could never have closed out Reddish. FSU clogged up the paint and took away the easy 2 point shots but left Reddish to stick the 3 pointer....which he did. Great coaches design plays to give great players a chance to do their job.

The before the TO play was a box. What he did was take the guy from the far block and moved him to the "nail." That was to screen for Reddish. If the guy guarding Reddish would have gone under or around the screen THAT guy was wide open for a 2. FSU wound up with inbounder guarded by a 7 footer, 3on2 in the paint, Barrett guarded but Reddish wide open.

#1 team doing what #1 teams do. Make big plays.

Agree! It's cracking me up that these X's & O's 1980's fans think Coach K won the game. It was a player that made the shot & it was a bad defensive decision by a player that led to it. That simple.
RJ Barrett said in his post game that Coach K drew it up and said "Cam will be wide open because everyone thinks you are getting the ball".

I would say pretty good x and o play calling from the coach.
