The play was great. The shot just didn’t go. That’s the way it goes sometimes.

Good comeback. I just wish Cal wouldn’t wait until the game is in doubt to start playing that way.

He is what he is. I think he was cocky last weekend when we beat Louisville. In fact, I think he got a little salty about some of the fans. He does some things I really don’t like, but, it’s hard to argue his success I guess.

Actually looked to me like Cal handed Avery his *** on a platter. Great usage of timeouts, we looked like the composed team. Had a great look to win it

I thought Avery outcoached Cal for 36 minutes but Cal won the end game by a mile.

Kind of funny. Bama was better prepared. Cal was the better in game coach. Sort of flips the script on what everyone thinks.

Agreed, last 3-4 were well coached. I liked the last play, to either Herro or Johnson. Just didn't go.

My problem, is the first 38 minutes. Cal adjusting too late as usual.

Well, at least we don't have to wonder if you know anything about basketball. You're clearly an idiot (or more likely an emotional little person). The play was perfect. It was a great look. If you had told me that was the shot we were going to get I'd take it every time.

Cal coached them to miss layups and throw up bricks? Who knew!?

I don't think he did anything exceptional from a coaching stand point to help our offense. The press killed them, and we saved it for desperation time in the final 2-3 minutes

Cal sucks. His system sucks. His ego sucks.
His floor coaching sucks.
Recruiting is OK though...

Bad take on that...Cal didn't have a timeout there to get them organized and no one took charge on the floor, again.

Johnson has to get that ball in those final seconds.

Hagans doesn't want to shoot it, and Herro settles for the first bad shot he gets- usually long threes and doesn't get his feet under him

Great defensive effort to have a chance on a day we couldn't throw it in the ocean.

Honestly, if Travis hadn't walked on an uncontested layup or taken those bad jumpers later we win this outright.

Not helping that we're getting little to nothing from the Bench.

We'll get better from it.

Reminded of last season after the 1st weekend of the tournament where it looked like we were bound for the FF and Cal started calling out fans. I miss the “we suck” coach Cal from pre 2012. However, I give Cal a lot of credit in this game. We could of wilted and loss by double digits. I think the possibility they can get this right and make a run is still there but there’s a real strong possibility they can’t and they flame out early.

I would have let Hagans go to the rim better percentage than putting up a 30 footer..

I bet old Swaggy Cal won't be calling out fans today after that stink bomb the team just laid in Tuscaloosa!

Alot of missed layups, Travis 5 TO's usually don't happen and we shot like crap . And of course they have a 29 percent shooter from 3 go off in 1st half.

Down 8 with a minute to go...
End up with a good look to win the game at the buzzer...

Terrible late game coaching.

Huh?

Now if you want to to talk the rest of the second half, I'm listening.

I'm all for crapping on Cal when he messes up late in games ( Seton Hall ), but this was not one of those times. Give the man a break
No **** it was lack of effort at times, watching rebounds, horrible shot selection by everyone in the second half. How many 10-12 footers did everyone miss in the second half. We hustled last 2 mins. and they looked shook. Too much lazy play in the second half and that's not on Cal.
