So I was just listening to Mike Miller's interview on Pardon My Take and Memphis is going to be good recruiters with him and Penny. Their pitch is Mike Miller being a 2X Champion, long career in NBA, and teammates loving him and going to him for advice. It was a very good interview tbh

Memphis will recruit well unless they are absolutely terrible next year. Memphis will probably get another 5* for next year in Watford too

Look around the NBA. If anyone wants to maximize their chances at both getting to the NBA and succeeding, UK is the clear choice.

Doesn't matter that penny was good eons ago before they were born or if Mike Miller rode the bench while LeBron won rings.

Their recruiting is based on past shady aau connections. Nothing more.

Mike Miller is former ROY, 6MOY, 2X Champion, played 18 years in the NBA and was known as a player-coach last 5 years of his career. Put some respect on his name

In the end whether Hardaway/Miller succeed will depend on one of two things. (1) their success getting players drafted in the NBA or (2) the ability of the Memphis area to produce top talent.

With Wiseman the NBA is a foregone conclusion. But they don't have any other sure-fire NBA prospects in their recruiting class yet. If they can't generate an NBA pipeline, or if Memphis fails to produce top talent, then the well could dry up quickly.

Miller will be great in his role, so long as he has the motivation to keep at it.
I figured Mike’s brother, Ryan would have been tabbed for the position, as he was with Cal at Memphis.
Ryan has developed a pretty strong reputation as recruiter w strong aau connections.

I haven't heard that episode in a few weeks when it came out. Doesn't he mention Wiseman by name?? I can't remember but I thought he said that. Isn't that illegal? Someone listen?

Big Cat asked him if he's getting Wiseman and he said idk, we put in work but not sure if mentioned him by name. The interview didn't come out until after Wiseman committed anyways

I'm pretty sure you can't talk about a specific recruit until they sign. So if he was committed would be irrelevant, if he hadn't signed yet.
