I seriously doubt Davis dad was shopping. Recent history would tell you that if that were the case he wouldn’t have been at UK because Cal clearly isn’t willing to do that. Otherwise we’d have been more involved with guys like Ayton, Little, and not have been 4th in zion’s list according to him.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Nike did something suspect however. Davis infamously tweeted “Nike bound” and deleted it a few weeks before he made his commitment public. It could have just been a brand loyalty thing. But with all that’s become public over the last year and a half it’s hard not to be skeptical.
