I think Tennessee should be the favorites to win it all. I'm not joking. They got screwed vs. Kansas on a neutral floor and just beat the undefeated #1 team that beat Duke, Gonzaga..on a neutral floor.

Also they were the 3 seed and lost to an 11 seed. If we had been the 3 instead of Tennessee and lost to an 11, everyone would be livid, not bragging on Cal’s coaching.

Making a Final Four run doesn’t mean they were seeded bad. George Mason did the same a few years back. UVA was beat by a 16 seed last year. You’re telling me the team that beat them should have been a 1-8 seed? Teams hit hot shooting streaks and teams go cold. It happens. Doesn’t change the fact that if the shoe was on the other foot your crucify Cal for losing to an 11 seed, not claim he’s a great coach.

It would still be unacceptable here, as it shouldn’t be. They were an average team that got hit at the right time. I’m just saying as good as UT looks now, don’t give barnes much credit until he does something when it counts. I understand where you’re coming from. I deal with UT fans everyday living close to Knox myself and it stinks to see us struggling and them succeeding at the moment. Hoping this ship gets turned around either this season or next. If not, you’ll see a fair share of displeasure from me.

Schofield never would've chosen UK.

Generally, the players who choose UK are those who plan on leaving really early, because that's our brand, that's our sales pitch. And UK recruits who discover they can't go NBA early tend to still seek alternative early exits either overseas or by transfer (see Briscoe, Matthews, Humphreys, etc.).

But those thinking about a full four year college basketball experience ain't thinking about UK, because that ain't the product we've been selling for the last decade.

Lived there for 23 years and will be moving back there in the next year more than likely.

I feel your pain. Barnes has done a hell of a job with that program and has done it with relatively unknown prospects.
