First, let me say that I Love Coach Cal.....But the Empire he ruled and owned in college basketball in his early seasons at UK is collapsing..

Teams no longer fear us, even in Rupp Arena... A lot of times they were beaten before the game was played... Their demeanor is no longer shaken......

When you lose in a dominant fashion like we did the first game of the year it just verified it..

When was the last time that a historical program like UK, ever was beaten and lost in such a one sided result?

Maybe the probation years....

Yes it’s collapsing. You guys are horrible at thinking with your brains instead of your hearts. If this was happening to Roy or K you’d be saying they were collapsed and done for...

Literally Kansas against us to start 2014-2015 season. It was bad coaching and preparedness, true, but one game sometimes is one game. I’ll be more upset if we’re still playing like chickens with our heads cut off in the conference slate.

At FL Fox and company by 22, not nearly as much, but a bad beat down to an eventual elite 8 team 32-6. That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure we have had strong teams lose badly only to improve later in the season.

Agree, any idiot with half a brain would know that's not 9/11. Geez. Glad he didn't post about today's game. That would have been a real beauty.

It is over with UK and Cal. Cals' way of recruiting has been caught up by majority of coaches. Not to mention one of the worst X and O coaches in the game... He got outcoached today in my opinion an embarrassing manner for UK basketball... I see us losing 15 to 17 games this year... Degraded me thats fine. But we have a tough schedule rest of the way... And as we all know even low tier SEC teams always play us tough... Don't see us making the tourney this year however I think it will be for the best imo. Maybe we can keep much of our guys(my way of thinking)

Once Nero realized his northern empire had abandoned him, he downplayed the reality right until he was notified that the western empire had also organized against him. His own Praetorian Guard ultimately unified against him forcing Nero to flee and commit suicide (assisted suicide due to the fact that he couldn't even competently kill himself). He was constantly behind the news, instead of staying ahead of the discontent. It proved to be his demise.

Kentucky's empire is intact, but there are rumors to the north that factions are forming. Cal and his staff can ignore these rumors, or they can get ahead of them and squash any potential insurrection before it has a chance to breath. Develop inroads with Nike and the NCAA and reform the coaching staff. That would be a wonderful place to start.

When we beat Kansas by like 40 a few years ago.

When UL lost by like 30 to UConn the year they won the title
