This team has no chemistry. It seems like all our players hate each other and just trying to compete above the rest to get a higher draft pick. Where is the chemistry and fight and leader on this team... We had a legitimate chance of losing this game. Also we broke the record of most 3 pointers made at Rupp ever...

I’m not sure about hating one another but they sure don’t seem interested. Very little communication. Poor body language. Just going through the motions. These games mean nothing .

I wouldn’t call 92 points as no chemistry. Giving up 82 to VMI is called no defense.
Great game. One of the top 5 efforts by an opponent player with Bubba Parham. Incredible. Difficult style of play to defend. Good win
Despite them pulling multiple incredible 3 pointers out their butts, we had zero chance of losing this game.
You tend to look that way when struggling but way to make a mountain out of a mole hill. They sure had chemistry in Bahamas or did they hate each other then too?! Just curious

Defense is all about chemistry. It's talking. It's helping others when they break down. And it requires heart, effort and caring more about the whole than one's self. We lack all of those things.

I think any so-called chemistry issues arise from the fact that we have 10 guys all capable of starting, and the constant mixing of player combinations by Calipari prevents cohesion. It'd be better if we had 5 really good starters, 2 good subs and a bunch of role players.

This has been a disappointing development to start the season...all we heard since july/aug was that these guys had great chemistry and meshed well. That seemed apparent in the Bahamas....they seemed to be enjoying themselves and looked so fluid. Something changed....maybe the duke game? But even so....they looked lost going into that game as well. However, tonight I am not going to panic....sometimes a team comes in and gets hot and just hits everything.....was our defense perfect? FAR from it, but a lot of those shots were defended, off balance, deep, etc and still somehow fell. Guys they shot like 50 percent from three on 38....yes 38! Attempts. And that counts a few just thrown up there at the end. Let's not panic and this team will come along and be competitive in March. I'm sick of having to watch a team have to figure it out all year and then just disperse at the end of the season too....but that's the era we are in and at least for now, that's just how it will be.
Not going to get 5 really good starters night in and night out when they are all so young. Zero consistency.

I'm not going to lie... there may not be a more miserable fanbase in the country than BBN's message board crew. Hell, the UL fans I know are more optimistic about their teams than we are. It's incredible.

I am a diehard fan. We played one of the worst teams. We had to do everything just to win. I also look at the point spread. We were supposed to win by -34. We just have a ton of chemistry and many other factors to improve. We really have no way of seeing our true self until end of December. Something I wish we would change. Who is our next opponent? Winthrop. How can we improve a young team if we solely push them after the New Year into March...
I am getting fed up with how you can't say nothing negative on this board. We can't criticize our team. I don't want to turn into a liberal fiesta.... I guess next we need to give them a particpation award for each loss. This is not the route.

I don't see whats hard about defending a three point shooting team... Its actually the easiest coaching model to defend with a bunch of oversized guys on defense. People saying VMI was lucky is astronomically an idiotic statement cause its the easiest offense to defend lol. We failed miserably. Why can't we come into a game just one time and say, "Wow our coach made a difference tonight"
I actually agree with a lot you just said. This team does look really bad defensively. Let’s just give them a few more games to hopefully gel.
Look at the threads on both the basketball and football boards and you can easily spot the over-arching negativity. If you can't spot it then you are simply ignoring it.
it took all of 3 games for a bulk of uk fans to give up and turn on this team. no need to ever wonder how effective russia's disinformation campaign was/is. easy to bring out the bad in the weak.
Every post you have put up has a negative tone. Passive agressive and agenda driven. We get it, you don't like OAD and think Cal isn't a good coach. I've been on this board for a while. I hope you're joking actually? What positive came out of this game? We allowed VMI to break records in our own stadium. When they play good obviously people will say well. But when they play with no defense and just trying to get those points in which all are going for the Nba Draft and not the Jersey on there back (i'd love for you to dispute this) then no I can't say anything positive. You are like I said give them a particpation award. I'd love for Rupp to give you a good ole "*uckin *Dumb****" for creating positives out of nothing. Just saying.
