It's quite obvious the pieces are there, but is there enough season for it to reach it's potential. It's a shame we'll never get to see this full roster(with the exception of Travis since hes only got 1 year here ofc) a 2nd year.

terrible pass by travis. cant make a pass from the top of the key to the post. 5th year player should know that. 3-11 shooting...not a great night by him.
It’s nice to see a game that, after being up 20 at halftime, they don’t just mail it in second half and pull it out by 14. I like when they bust it for the full 40.

Lol... But it amazes me you can't criticize Cal. If you mention Tubby and how he won the same amount of championships as Cal at UK they'll say he used Pitinos players(now think about that for a second). This is coming from the same UK fans. They wonder why they can't fill up 60% of seats at Rupp now. Not only is this style of ball boring to your old school fans but its also the craziness of the new school fans.

bad habits. like going under a screen on a shooter like green did. or helping on a post player to leave a wide open guy at the top of the key like quickley did.
these are reasons why you lose games against decent teams. cant make these mistakes, its basic stuff.
If you were around when that happened you would understand that 100% Tubby absolutely 100 million percent got the championship because of the players he inherited. Denying that is just absolutely ignorant and "uneducated".
Overall great game tonight. Showed a lot of effort and improvement on defense. Hagans is just.... awful though. Only real sour spot I saw tonight. Richards is still a huge work in progress as well but gives us a shot blocking presence that we need.
Is Baker just a hologram? Like the woman in Blade Runner 2049? I am doubting his reality.

If you value success by championship alone then you're an idiot. That would put every UK coach at the same level except Rupp. Cal has 4 final fours and 6 elite 8's in his tenure here. He's not beyond criticism but to act like he's anything other than a great success here is idiotic.
