First time I had it there, honestly was surprisingly good. Today, not so much.

Will say though that brisket is the black belt of bbq. The most time consuming and demanding of the meats. It’s either unreal or total garbage.

Blue door is the best local brisket I’ve had.

I still dream of Franklin’s in Austin.

And in the “we are getting old” portion of GYERO...anyone ever had sciatic nerve issues?

Been giving me fits for about a week and trying to get comfortable while sleeping is almost impossible.

How in TF is Zion at Duke...

Every GD dunk followed by the GD CEAZIES OMFG GREATEST FANS EVER fills me with an uncontrollable rage that threatens my very well being and mental state.

It's literally unforgivable that Cal blew this one.

(Unless it comes out he took money and Duke is deemed ineligible.)

Left here, Brutal. Mine has calmed a bit since golf ended, for whatever reason.

Get you a massage roller thingy and have your wife do that for 5 before bed. Helps about 10%, but the massage is nice. Stretching & indica pen also recommended.

I’d try McKenzie




Google proper way to sit and sleep with sciatica for ideas. YouTube some sciatica relief methods.

A big exercise ball for TV room, at work, wherever, to get on to stretch out back will help.

Gradually through a few changes, stretches it should get better.

The exercise ball is great to have at work to stretch back before afternoon rounds of golf or when it’s hurting and you need a break from desk.

See a physical therapist. Do the exercises they give you RELIGIOUSLY.

If weight is an issue, lose weight. Build strong core. Lacrosse ball, foam roller, Theragun, e-stim, etc can all help loosen things up.

My pregnant wife has bad sciatica showkiller, much worse than her first pregnancy. Congrats.

I go to the in laws for thanksgiving. We’re a tiny immigrant family so thanksgiving used to suck as the food was terrible and my mom had no damn clue how to cook a decent turkey, and we’d usually have a lamb dish except the lamb was from some ****** West Virginia food land and would be awful. But ever since I married my blonde American wife....MY GAWD.

Big family, lots of old aunts, probably about 25 people congregate at my FIL’s house. First year I had no idea what the hell I was doing, stuffed myself on deviled eggs and candied bacon before the parade of amazing side dishes like mac n cheese and mashed paotatoes and all the casseroles etc etc. didn’t even make it to the entrees which her uncle makes (filets and turkey). The family cocktail is whiskey sours, just top notch.

Finally learned to pace myself somewhat, actually made it to dessert last year which included some incredible pecan pie with chocolate chips in it. :fire:Gotta say the U S of A knows how to celebrate, used to hate this time of year because it ushered in bad weather but I think it’s my favorite six weeks of the year now all thanks to American traditions. :100points::americanflag:

No clue what dinnerware we use either.

Our Brisket can be great but only when CB is the chef. Next time you are coming let me know And I will tell you if he is in

Wings are always good...I am amazed how good they are actually. Catfish and burgers good...ribs still really aren’t yet

That’s my honest take. BBQ chips for app

I enjoyed the KSR sauce. Nice flavor.

Mac n cheese and stuffing/dressing are flex plays. Both can be amazing or just crap. All are just case by case basis. Do enjoy some texture to the Mac cheese, topped with crushed grippos-shew.

Got some Elmer T Lee today. Very good, not quite worth the premium price imo.

Old Forrester 1920 is my current jam. Eagle Rare best pound for pound bourbon.

I got no emotion towards this team right now. One way or the other...
