That should be an honest concern for them. Funny thing is that I was thinking that should be a concern for us before Tuesday happened. Lol.
I told myself that I wouldn't get upset if we got beat cause I thought it would lower the hype and humble our guys after being crowned champions after the Bahamas. Now, a beatdown of this sort wasnt what i wanted for them obviously but it may do us more good than a win would in the long run. We know how Cal works and I'm sure it has refocused and humbled him as well. We can now progress without all the hype and coverage of a UK title contender. So, let's see how they respond.

We only had 10 early practices...6 exb games and months to put in some plays .......... but nah...... cal doesnt like getting ahead........... Doesnt have to worry about that now as we're way behind.
They ran their 5 out motion. The offense is a read and react offense. They dont ever run alot of "set" plays but they ran their philosophy. It's the same thing they'll do all year.

that 5 out motion was started this season..... so how can you say they dont ever run a lot of set plays when its just 1 game under their new offensive system?
Take off the blue glasses dude. Duke will be great all year, may lose a game or 2 but they will not break from being great. Us on the other hand will lose at least 10

No, it wasnt started this year. I think Mike D'Antonio started it back when he had Nash with the Suns. Coach K has always used a motion offense, in one way or another and its all the same basic philosophy. My point hasnt changed, Duke ran their motion offense.
I dont like saying it... Man it hurts my soul but this is 4 years in a row cal has had to mention things about making mistakes early in the season in players not being prepared enough..

Because he starts with a new team every year. Look, I feel ya man, I'm frustrated as hell right now. Do I think things are perfect and do I agree with everything Cal does? Um, NO! With that said.....I trust the guy. I trust that he will do what he does best and we will be a championship calibur team come March. I trust him with this team, recruiting, and this program. It's not perfect but there is nobody I'd rather have at the helm than Cal. It hurts like hell right now, I'm right there with ya man. My wife is ready to send me packing for a few days cause I've been a complete ******* since Tuesday. We got out everything on Tuesday, outplayed, out worked, out hustled, out fought, and OUT COACHED. But it happens and I trust that he's gonna put his nose to the grind with this team and that we will be just fine. I truly believe that and its going to get better!! Its going to get a lot better.
The basic of basic is.... before this year K loved the 4 out and 1 in... which is 4 guys stretching the court with a center inside. This year its a 5 out.... trying to get all the defenders out of the lane so that its just one on one for their big 3 players.
What happened since the bahamas because Transy "peaked" against us.... then IUP "peaked" against us and now Duke "peaked" against us... thats a very disturbing trend dont ya think?

Well, you’d think at every timeout (you only get those on offense) and TV timeouts the Blue Devils would be drawing up plays. I mean K has the clipboard and all. BUT, in fact he is just taking a poll of where the team wants to eat after the game. Or sometimes they play Hangman or Suduko.
