The slop fest in the early part of the game was inexplicable. It looked like they've never played basketball together.

They are mediocre P5 players at best. Quade is hot garbage, honestly, who can hit a couple 3s from time to time, when featured, but excels at really nothing. PJ wasn't and isn't much better. If he is the "star", we are in trouble. Cold hard facts.

Neither of the 3 looked like they needed to be out there, absolutely zero fight or emotion. Richards shouldn’t have gotten on the game, give ej his minutes going forward atleast he hustled a little. Very disappointing what those 3 gave us tonight which amounted to nothing.

Quade is too slow to D up athletic guards. PJ way too slow to guard athletic wings. Richards is still a project big with zero basketball IQ. He is rarely in proper position and when he is, does not grab the ball or take advantage of good position. None of these three is an NBA player. PJ may get a chance, but the other two are just bad.

People are giving E.J. props for a couple of put back baskets but he was a defensive nightmare.

I very much hope I'm wrong with this post-but we seemed to have reached a stage in the evolution of the UK program where the players have so completely over-valued their own ability, that they don't progress. There is so much talk about where and when these very mediocre players will in the draft, that they actually stop preparing for it. Is it possible that Richards, PJ, and Quade all ran into a perfect storm of absolute horrible lack of preparation and performance and all three are better than they showed? I guess. Whatever the situation, they sure didn't look impressive tonight.
