- Justa definitely didn’t have brothers he was competitive with growing up.

- SAE: Paige jeans at Nordstrom. Worth the money. Bonobos makes some good stuff now that fits me well.

- slept all night on call. CFA chicken biscuit in hand. Big cookout at my place this weekend for my Nashville crew. Cats in Indy. LASIK next week. BIG vacation week ahead. Things are looking up.

- Cancun wedding less than a month away. Have become quite the fan of destination weddings.

- 3 paychecks in November! #blessed

When the eff did he develop that beautiful looking jumper?

Fox has always had a nice looking jumper just no reason to further develop it when you can blow by guys at the HS level.

Unfortunately, when they’re only one year with the Cats, we don’t get to see it. Takes a while to develop the develop the practice discipline and the time to perfect it.

-Fox and WCS have been balling out there.

-Not a fan of the Bonobos jeans but I really like their other shorts/dress pants/chinos.

-Line down to 8.5. Under 44.5.

-Lot of home dogs out there this week.

-Blessed: Gingko hardly produced a single berry this year and just turned from green to glowing gold. After the produce from last year this is big news.

-Ok, Cal. Need some cohesion tonight and hints of lineups that we need to beat Duke next week, not what wil make us better in March.

-Full on Cajun feast, Grits and Grillades, Jamb, Ettouffee... assuming Ursch did not send the king cake and bbdk bailed on maque choux. Typical.

King cake in November??? :joy::joy::joy:

God, you’re terrible. You know NOTHING about us Louisianans and our culture.

Try some BBQ shrimp, a petit four, host a crawfish boil, and learn Swamp People.

REAL TALK.

At every single moment this year I have expected UK football to fold after every good event. I have expected us to go back to our loser roots. I have expected us to be a flash in the pan who just had a great running back, a decent O line, and a competent defense.

But we flat whipped a very good Florida team's *** in the swamp, won games that we absolutely pulled out of our *** and had no business winning, and got mad after losing to TAMU in College Station.

Whether or not we beat Georgia, I now expect us to be a good football team.

What a new feeling.

* Would love to attend the Cajun Fest this weekend, but the parking situation is terrible for my pirogue. Not gonna dock it like 3 streets over just because your driveway is too small.

* Lass's dog (about 10 months old) is officially bonkers. 4-mile run yesterday left him completely unfazed. Dude has mad energy.

* Riskier proposition.....

- barebacking a prostitute
- me booking a vacation 6 months out

Did one of those yesterday. Portugal and Spain with the lady friend in April/May.

* What's the coefficient of restitution of my ball sack? [pfftt]

* LSU versus Georgia....

Edwards-Helaire = 19 for 145
Burrow = 13 for 66
Brossette = 16 for 64

We can beat these guys on the ground. It's been done before.

* Jon Gruden, a DECADE removed from head coaching, signed a 10-year, $100 million contract to coach one of the worst run franchises in pro sports. SMGDH. We all went into the wrong profession.

* Gonna park my *** at Fat Harry's tomorrow with an abnormally large group of fellow Cat fans. Clemson-Louisville, Kentucky-Georgia, LSU-Bama. God, I love college football.

* We know the drill. Get the running game going early. That's the key to victory right there.

-Been listening to the Rudy soundtrack a lot over the past 24 hours. One of the greatest soundtracks in cinematic history... elicits a lot of reflection for this CTE stricken man. Backyard tackle, practices, trips to Lexington for SEC Saturdays, November playoffs, state championships... God bless football.

-K Flags went up in Jefferson County yesterday. Car and house.

-November afternoon game with this forecast... I expect to see some tastefully dressed Cats fans tomorrow and also the wodie crew.

-I got a ticket yesterday. [smoke]

-Plan is to get in on the richie uber btw. Should be a great ride down. No stress or anger, just some beers, tunes, and a few laughs. As it should be.

-The Pine Room last night (old Chick Inn and Cast Iron on River Road). Really nice finishes and good atmosphere. Food was fairly average but permissible.

-My Dad shared with me (again) that the last time he drank gin was at the original Pine Room on River Road in December 1969 after the Kentucky-Notre Dame game. Went postgame with some fraternity buddies, met a UK alum there with his family who ended up buying them drinks all night after sending his wife and kids home. Never remembered leaving. Worst hangover of his life. Hasn't touched the stuff since.

-Cats 24 Dawgs 21. Kroger Field environment will be special.

I decided to bring a Bloody Mary bar w/ all the fixins, given the early kickoff.

Sloot is making Breakfast Casserole, then we turn around 2 hours later and have a "full on" Cajun Feast. If you'd rather me make touching corn salad, I can definitely do that.

But tread lightly, or I'll show up at 1-2 with everyone else and you can chill by yourself all day.

Bloody bar seems like a solid idea.

PTI is just pretending. He knows a few of the cajun terms, has some beads, owns a cheap tux, been to a couple parades, but he's certainly not one of them.

There’s no more disappointing drink in the bar game than a half assed Bloody Mary.

salted rim
generic mix
vodka
pour over ice

[eyeroll]

If it doesn’t look like a vegetable garden, then GTFO.

(proactively telling rogue to get pumped, also)

Had one once with bacon sticking out of it.

Few things worse - booze-wise - than a bad Bloody Mary, but the good ones are hard to beat.

Bloody Mary is great for a hungover Sunday to make you feel better or when I randomly crave tomato juice on a flight. But it’s too filling and spicy to kick off a full day of drinking.
