"Here comes Wrangler, he is one tough customer, he knows what he likes when he sees it." Could not get that awful GD jingle out of my head in the from the 80's.

Gonna mix things up today, 18 holes at Kelly Plantation with the lass serving as my cart driver/beer girl. Proceed to beach. Crush more collides before dinner, probably more oysters and shrimp, and then proceed to costume party at Aj’s with my old crew, and debate how the Cats are a top ten playoff team.

Thank you UK football for truly an enchanted week.

Offered my extra for Saturday to my sister who is flying in for the game. There’s one stipulation.. You’re driving. She then threw a fit.

That’s fine. You either commit to pushing the peddle down 64 so I can enjoy my domestos and get gameday ready or I’ll post this thing on stubhub and get 250.00 for it. I’m fine either way. You’re choice, toots.

Another fun tidbit, if you get the option of taking the “managers special” and you’re a Hertz gold member, take it. Cost less than an economy model, ended up with a tricked out Chrysler 300m sport. Beats by Dre sound system. Tinted out windows and big black rims.

Been playing 90’s channel all week.

Speaking of Tucker, this was in his feed:

Is it bad that I laughed all the way through this? Might have been the accent. Might have been the fact that this dude looks like he's about 4'11 so I'm picturing Henry Hawk yelling at Foghorn Leghorn. You get one major dog cussing in your life and you've heard all of them, and the rest of them all sound the same - which means they're hilarious. Also, hooray the coaching profession! Love it when coaches melt down. I have no doubt that this is how Jim Boeheim reacts when somebody leaves his program before he's ready for them to go.

Alex O'Connell. Hate him. Hated him last year when he played 3 minutes a game. He's the guy in class at 2:45 on Friday afternoon who reminds the teacher that they haven't assigned homework for the weekend. You can impress your coach without being a tryhard.

So Saturday is 6 vs. 9...nice.

Anyone had an offer better than 50% off The Athletic? Also, do they have any golf coverage? I've looked and it seems like they have one golf writer, but I don't see a golf category.

They're getting close to wearing me down.

-I'm such a softy. Already getting a bit misty thinking about not ever experiencing Halloween at this age again with G. Had a blast with little man last night. Won't be long until Dad isn't cool enough to go trick or treating.

-How would one properly care for a pair of jeans? I wash them like 3-4 times per year. Might try a pair of those LCs as the 7's have been trash the last few years.

-Terrible time with Xmas coming in but I need to pick up a few items for the wardrobe.

-Bob REALLY REALLY likes Destin.

Made in Johnson City, TN.

Since we're talking about it: JC is a hot bed of good looking women. I grew up there but moved to Kansas in 8th grade. I was borderline depressed when I came home from school the first day. There were like three attractive girls in the entire grade. I talked to my dad that night about whether I could move back.

It's pretty much ******** that UCF is ranked as high as they are and they haven't played a team with a winning record.

“They haven’t lost a game since 2016” - sportswriter

Best team they beat this year is who? Memphis?

The same Memphis that drew lock looked like Tom Brady against

Nice pics. Kid is going to be a stud.

However......you sound like he is going to be out running the neighborhoods with just his buddies next year. You've got another decade to soak it in IMO.

They were pre-season #21 and last I checked haven't done anything to hurt that. You win, you move up. And their schedule can't be altered during the season, FYI....so they can't pick and choose who they want to play or play someone who may be better.

^^^stuff any college football should know.

I do, I doubt a decade, but the innocence at this age is tough to beat.

He was strictly taking 1 piece of candy, would show us each piece when he got back. Just great. You should have seen the 5 little people staring at the bowl of note pads some hussy left instead of candy... we're like, "what are they doing up there." :joy:

Destin is a tourist trap. It’s a slightly upgraded version of Myrtle Beach.

And he and his boys hang out exclusively in the most tourist infested areas. It’s kinda hysterical.

No, it isn't, and actually Doc's places are preferred by the locals over the tourists. Go down there and run a few hundo milers and see for yourself.

Actually, the AP and Coaches Polls have nothing to do with the Playoff rankings, so their preseason ranking should have nothing to do with where they are ranked now. This is the first poll that matters, and it is only supposed to be based on what teams have done this season up until this point. UCF just doesn't stack up at this point. There are probably 50 teams that would be undefeated with their schedule.

Was having the same kinds of feelings today. Cat said this morning "I wonder how long he will keep wearing that Batman costume" (he has basically had it on at every moment other than when at school since we had him try it on last week).

Great time walking the neighborhood with you, WS, 80, B$, and the others. Fun night.

Back to lurking...

Also, we are under-ranked, and it's because our name is Kentucky and our offense is ugly. If they ranked teams based on how the defenses looked rather than the offenses, we'd be way higher. We have beaten #11 on the road, and #18 and our only loss is on the road in OT to #20.

Michigan has beaten unranked Northwestern by 3 and dog **** Wisconsin. Their resume isn't remotely as strong as ours right now.

Oklahoma beat an overrated Iowa State team and lost to the only other ranked team they have played.

Washington State lost to a 4-4 USC team, beat #15 Utah, and beat mediocre Stanford and Oregon.

It's honestly not even close. Our resume is significantly better than all of those teams. Obviously, it doesn't matter after Saturday because we'll either drop or shoot up the rankings, but still.

I sort of love how when UKO drops a take that gets completely and properly destroyed, he doesn't even think about sticking around to defend it. But if he's got a decent, even if debatable, position, he'll "sprinkles" you to death.

So I guess we'll see you next week, Mark...
