He stated when players sign early he tries to bring them into the system and get them closer as quick as possible. His example of the 4 recruits last year was that, all of them was on a group chat together through their senior year. He is so old and out of it, that he feels a group chat in a social media world makes a huge difference. lol

K has always been lame. Maybe that's the difference.

Can't wait to see you guys fail this year.

If looks alone determine a sense of social standing, then your program, backed by its elitist coaches, fans and players, has been the hallmark for 1950s-style Leave it Beaver white bread America.

You guys could lead off with the first float at the next "White Privilege Annual Parade", with Coach K as master of ceremonies.

Lol... don’t think they have those parades anymore. Maybe in Papa New Guinea.

The "generational talent", Okafor, has plenty of time for group chats, considering he doesn't log any minutes for New Orleans and looks to be a journeyman bust for the rest of his short career.
How's former #1 recruit Skal Labissiere doing lately?

No one ever said he'd be a "generational talent" like Okafor. Skal also didn't have a senior season of high school against any level of competition. He also was in one of the weakest classes in recent history. That said, Skal still busted, but nowhere near as close as #3 pick Okafor.

K busted Okafor just like he did Bagley in that zone. Plus, I don't know if you really want to compare NBA points from K's/Cal's arsenals.

You're clever but I follow college basketball religiously too. UK dominated Duke in recruiting from 2009-2014 (Kyrie Irving aside) and Duke has had the upper hand since.

The Okafor bust aside, the jury is still out on Duke's "superstar recruits" like Rivers/Jabari/Ingram/Tatum/Bagley/Carter/Zion/Reddish/Barrett. Those 8 will define Duke's success vs Anthony Davis/MKG/Wall/Cousins/Nerlens/Harrisons/Randle/Skal/Towns/Fox (Kentucky's "superstar" recruits).

No one expected Grayson, Mason Plumlee, Kennard, Tyus Jones, Justise Winslow, etc. to be 1st rounders so that's a credit to the Duke coaching staff.

I"ll give Cal plenty of credit for Devin Booker, WCS and SGA too.

K doesn’t have much time left in life, let alone coaching. It will be a beautiful sight watching the pukies squirm as no one compares to k. It’s like when we lost Rupp. Hall did his best but everyone knew he wasn’t Rupp. There is no successor out there to fill ks shoes. I hope it’s capel so they can catch him cheating as the Ncaa won’t turn a blind eye to his ********

Rivers likely is what he is at this point, which is a role player. Nothing wrong with that per se, but not quite living up to what's expected of a top 10 pick. Jabari I feel bad for because of all the injuries he's endured. But he's a terrible defender and was a terrible defender even before all the injuries. Tatum looks like he'll be a good one. The rest I agree with the jury still being out on them.
