This guy is all over the trial. And, Louisville is a major victim here. Just a lot of bad luck and bad people taking advantage of them. Poor folks.
The trial is absolutely ridiculous and a complete waste of FBI time, resources, and money. A coach gave a family moving 500 miles away a 1300 loan. Wowsah.
Players need to be paid whatever they fetch on the open market, they aren't students, and grossly inflated BS out-of-state tuition figures are not reasonable compensation.
Having said that, if anything has come out of this trial, it's that these parents are getting money from every direction, not just the schools. Bowen was a fringe top-20 player and got $25k for one summer of Adidas basketball and $2k a month to attend his school in Indiana. On top of the major $100k pay to play deal. And then, pops couldn't afford rent so he had to ask to hold a little somethin' from a UL coach? GTFO with that BS.

I hope every player gets every single dollar they can. This whole thing is dumb.
I don't think it's dumb. I actually think this may end up being the biggest hit to the NCAA ever and will hopefully lead to a massive overhaul of the system. By the way, the US Government loves wasting money. Guess I'd rather it be burying Louisville once and for all rather than being used as a vehicle to smear people in politics.
In retrospect, $200k for Anthony Davis was an absolute steal. Just another example of Cal staying ahead of the curve, imo.

So in case you missed it my pizza review from yesterday is going viral primarily because I got kicked out half way through it. Now people are ripping Goodfellas apart. Their yelp page is a dumpster fire and the local news is covering it. The One Bite App is not great. I got to be honest. I kinda feel bad for them. Yeah the dude who kicked me out was an ******* and my guess is an ******* most of the time, but I have eaten at the Goodfellas in Indy before and liked it. And I did think this Goodfellas seemed like a pretty cool spot before the pizza drama began. Now the fact that they’d serve an ice cold slice without asking if the customer wanted it warmed up is really bad, but it does suck to have a random review ruin your entire customer service relationship. That’s not what I try to do with these things. I guess sometimes the pizza game teaches you hard lessons. So yes next time I’m in Lexington I’ll gladly give this place another shot. Davey Highroads indeed.

In fact I think by far the bigger crime was giving me the ice cold slice rather than kicking me out. You have to ask the customer if he wants it warmed up. It’s pizza 101.

I love the fact that he’s reviewed 450+ pizza places in the last 18 months: they’re great, mostly accurate, and funny. He takes his pizza as ridiculously & embarrassingly serious as I do, of course I’m gonna love it. :sunglasses:
I’ve never visited that website or listened to PMT. The pizza is a separate schtick, couldn’t care less about his other one (obnoxious Dbag New Englander sports guy)
