If you arrive early enough (2 hours prior to tip off) you can park in the parking lot directly across the street from Rupp.

There are many lots downtown. They will have signs that say event parking. The closer you get to Rupp, the more it costs and the longer it will take you to get out of the traffic after the game.

I've been the last 10 years and I've never had a problem parking in the open parking lot next to Rupp.

So I just get there couple hours early and head for the parking lot at rupp thanks

Worst case scenario is maybe you park on a surrounding street and walk. I used to park on Lexington and walk the 10 minutes to Rupp. Im sure you’ll have no trouble with parking though.

And I've always got there a little early and went to country boy before walking over to Rupp.

Park for free on the street north/northwest of Rupp...walk to downtown and Rupp in no time.

Further away you park, easier it is to get out of downtown.

We always park in the garage on High St and take the catwalk over to the Lexington Center.

If you're coming from the north, I'd highly recommend exiting I-75 at the Rt. 25 Georgetown Rd exit.
Turn right off the exit, go about 1/2 mile and turn left on Georgetown. Follow south all the way to Newton
Pike and you're dumped right into the western area of downtown/Rupp arena. At Rally's turn right and
then look to turn left into the neighborhood area and look for a spot.

Reverse direction for the ride home...remember Rally's as your point of direction back onto 25 North.

We found this shortcut a few years back...beats the hell outta Newton Pike to 75 gridlock.
