I can't remember the quote exactly which is making it hard to find via Google. I'm hoping someone on here remembers the actual quote and its originator.

The Grantland recollection was the key! I found it. Here's the quote from Matt Jones of all people writing for Grantland in a contribution from Oct. 21, 2011.

"In Kentucky, we care more about basketball than you do. In fact, we care more about basketball than you probably care about anything."
