they have moved theirs to the opening of the year so they can have the night to themselves because previously most elite kids were attending UKs/Dukes madness events. with no other calendar conflicts, they can get kids to come. i dont know why they are pulling out all the stops. transfers are their angle now.

This has such a desperate, Helms Titles feel to it.

I never heard of 2 Chainz but it appears he has enough of a criminal record that he'll fit in with the Jailhawks.

They must have picked him in honor of the FBI subpoenas into payoffs that steered two of their players there : One of his songs is Feds Watching. You can't make up stuff like that.

Midnight madness historically last weekend in Sept/First Weekend in October..Been like that for awhile but facts wont sway BBH.

Not a rap fan but had heard of 2 Chains....Personally, I'd much rather have the GAP band but guessing that would not draw as well.

I know nothing about him, but I know he went to college is a 4.0 student and the recruits sure as he’ll know who he is. I’m sure the rug doctor will come out dressed up like he’s about to freestyle decked out with gold chains which is just as gay as any puke skit

Everyone tries to copy UK. Kansas is no exception.

BBM is just another example of UK being the standard.
I’m glad puke doesn’t copy us except for the whole stranger things which fits them perfectly from the cringeworthy titanic skit to season cancelled. What a joke

Someone mentioned it before and was spot on. They dont want any excuses for recruits not coming. So they schedule it advance. We all know top recruits when push come to shove would ditch their attempt and go to real blue blood

Not a very impressive list considering it's their midnight madness and nobody else is doing theirs this weekend. UK will have the same number of 2019 5 stars on campus this weekend and it's a random weekend for us.

Plus the best two players on that list have zero chance at going to the gayhaws, unless you ask the pooping baby, then atleast 4 will commit on the spot

Hey now
They had an elite top 150 point guard commit on the spot a couple years ago.
Even he decommited once he really thought about it

Because you probably listen to boring *** country music or rock and roll. 2 chainz is not only a very good rapper but does a lot for the community and he is a former basketball player who had some very good offers

I don't care who started it, we do it better than anyone and everyone including Kansas tries but fails to live up to it.

Kansas started basketball with 2 coconuts and a Wooden rim but yet, we are the gold standard. Same concept.

How about we just admit Kentucky has the best madness, is there a point in arguing it? I watch some of these madnesses, pretty lame.

2 chainz will be a hit with recruits. To some of us it's silly but to those recruits it's huge....athletes always want to meet/be rappers and movie stars and 2 chainz has alot of what they be callin drip nowadays.

I'm sure we'll have something major as well. Been a minute since Drake has visited, maybe he comes back for Madness again?

An easy outing of a couple of faux "UK" posters in any event. Speak evil of their program and watch who they join every time. But, they love this site...

He was once recruited by Memphis State I had heard. Also, as Tity Boi, he was part of Playaz Circle and has the song Duffle Bag Boy. Loved that song as a youth. And he has a song called Birthday Song, wonder if he will perform that at Late night at the Phag. “All I want for my birthday is a big Booty hoe!”

LOL. Thanks for the review Robert Christgau. Truly brilliant. I’m sure 2 Chains is a gifted purveyor of the poetry of beating up women, shooting at cops, carrying a gun to show how tough you are and squandering your life in the drug trade. “Raw” and “authentic” no doubt. If I ever decide that’s for me, he’ll be an early listen. I’m also sure there is nothing ‘boring ***’ as you put it, to be the 22,000th rapper to cover the same territory.

I hate that you guys beat me to the Feds Watching jokes and that someone already basically used 2Rangz for KU's titles.

Well done.

You could always use the beating women, rapes in the dorms, agent supplied vehicles, shooting people with BB guns...plenty that hasn’t been touched on yet!
