Most of the music made in the 70's is garbage. Aside from Funk/R&B.

-nah. You can insert any decade into that statement and be kinda correct. Most pop music is derivative and lame...when it was made is immaterial.

-late...but smashing pumpkins is like pearl jam. First record or two was great/solid, everything else is boring/fluff. Neither band aged well.

* Who Is America done, or what? America may be all f'd up, per that show, but we've earned that gd Sarah Palin interview. Bring it out, bring it out. IMHO.

* KSR blurb = "KENTUCKY OFFENSE IS EXPLOSIVE ONCE AGAIN"

:joy::joy::joy:

M'kay.

I don't know what's more disappointing --> that Matt Jones doesn't seem to care, or that our fanbase is too stupid to.

* The noon ESPNU3 game (or whatever) may seem wack at face value, but it's a gem when you're playing an intra-state/directional/fcs/etc school. Go ahead and get that sucker out of the way, and spend the rest of your weekend watching legit games.

* Axl Rose's #1 most admired/favorite/inspirational bad was Queen. Putting them in the same conversation as Aerosmith is ridiculous, imo.

* Speaking of music.....

A Star Is Born
Queen

Going to see both opening week.

* Why in the world hasn't Ryan Reynolds been cast in a remake of the Fletch series?? He's a guy that could pull it off.

* My dog(s)…

mine = 14 year old beagle
hers = 10 month old mutt

They hate each other. One's a crotchety old man, and the other is a turbo-playful lunatic.

* Tiger gonna lose another tournament this week? I haven't checked the schedule.

* Ryan Bingham is back out on tour after a long layoff. Put that one on your radar. Also, Tyler Childers will be in Louisville during drxman's wedding. 3-day show. Eek.

* You know who really makes my peter hard? Josh Allen. Mercy.

* I love 70's rock & roll. One of my favorite periods to be honest. Not surprised some of you peckerwoods wouldn't like it.

Don't hate Aerosmith, but don't listen to them on purpose, either.

I think there has been a lot of good stuff on Pearl Jam's later efforts, but the entire albums aren't as good as their first couple. "Just Breathe" and "Sirens" are 2 of my very fav PJ songs, though.

* I've actually been listening to a lot of blues lately. Howling' Wolf is my main man. I dig that Chicago sound.

* I like how FC Cincinnati is just torching all of the competition as they go out the door to the MLS. Getting close to wrapping up the regular season title with 6 games to go. I do hope we partner with Louisville (or Columbus if they leave MLS) as our minor league team. The teams that keep their USL squads in the same city don't draw.

* I am a huge college BB honk, as are most of us here - duh. But I touching love college football season. Best sport going for this guy.

* I expertly coached the Bumblebees to an easy victory last night. My little Lea Bug only had 2 goals, though. I'm thinking about having one of BRax's kids come up and give her a talk about stepping on the opponent's throat.

* The new sectional fit in the basement! Huge news.

* To those of you in the path of the storm, God bless and good luck. And get the touch out of there.

* We finally beat a ****** team like we should this weekend. Cats by 50+. Snell, Rose & King all go over the century mark.

* Have yourselves a day, GYERO. Carpe Vaginum.

People already reluctantly follow Tucker. He's not good enough to overcome his non-sports stuff AND a paywall, no one is.

-I do not, and will never, understand people who do not excuse themselves into the office hallway/restroom/breakroom when they have a coughing fit or, in the case of a kid in my office, blow their nose several times a day at the same exact time each day. Nobody wants to hear that, kid.

-I can listen to Joe Rogan talk to anyone about anything. The guy is just brilliant at conversation.

-I've rarely been "disappointed" in a book, but I have tried for a few weeks now to get into Steve Rushin's "Sting-Ray Afternoons" and just can't connect with it. I enjoyed his stuff in SI, and it's about a kid growing up in the 70's, so it should be right in my wheelhouse. But so far, meh.

-On the flip side, I am really interested in Adam Schefter's new book about his wife's previous husband, who was killed in 9/11. What an angle....writing a tribute about the guy who your wife had been married to. I'm no NFL football, but it sounds fascinating.

-I just found myself nodding in agreement with four of PTI's randoms, so I'm just gonna call it a day.

Adam Schefter is a little too "perfect" for me.

Show up to work one day with your part a little off, your tie loose, or maybe get wild and even go business casual. It's ok, dude.

- Yeah, it’s enough that they’re sick, now they have to deal with you being a judgmental prick.

- Joe Rogan is a meathead dbag.

- SRA is the greatest book ever written. You can’t connect with it because it requires the bare minimum of intelligence and empathy- of which, you have ZERO.

- It’s not a tribute, you idiot. Schefker, a scoundrel if I’ve ever seen one, is roasting this poor bastard as a way to dig at his wife and cover up his own penis insecurities. The book is a venomous hand of passive aggressive schadenfreud. And you and your dumbass kind are going to miss the point of this burning pile of bitter disdain.

- PTI’s randoms have sucked today.

In other weird 9/11 news, how in the hell did Pete Davidson (who's dad died in 9/11) manage to land Arianna Grande?

He's both ugly and terrible at his job.

I wonder if it's rough on old Pete that my boy Mac Miller (RIP) just released a very popular jam explicitly talking about banging his fiance Ariana. Not something you want to hear on the radio I assume.

I think she's on record (accidentally) admitting he has a 10 inch dick. Should help explain things.

She apparently kept her former husband's name (Maio). Which is a nice tribute. So it's only natural that Adam would write about him.

Still can't believe we beat Florida. I said it after the game, but its worth repeating, I have honestly thought we had a shot at beating Flor for the past 20 years. This was the first time in 20 years I knew we would get beat. I guess giving up has it's advantages.

Oh, and when we lose to Murray state this weekend, it was still worth beating Flor.
