are we going to still look at him? With all the offers he is still free so it appears he is waiting for someone. His dad has kept quiet for a long time so I wonder if something is still going on with UK

Daddy should have shut his trap. After that UK was like nope we don't need the next daddy ball on our sidelines......
I think there may be something to this also. After seeing the affect a bad parent, like Lavar Ball for example, can have on a player and ultimately on the entire team, I would be very slow to recruit guys whose parents are control freaks. Here's the quote that may have ended it...

“If he does get an offer, he’s not going to Kentucky with three or four point guards there,” Torian told Kyle Tucker of SEC Country this weekend. “He’s not no bench player. And that’s what they think he is: He’ll just come in and play four years. No, no.”

It probably doesn't help that Cal just had some negative experiences with parents and handlers this past season. I won't mention any names, but I've read and heard that there were a couple guys who had some negative voices (anti-coaches, trainers, and doctors) influencing them.

Exactly, when we were recruiting him I remember reading him saying something like he could be a OAD too. Sure buddy, agreed, done as done can be.

I heard he is an Auburn lean. But have they even offered? If not it could be what he's waiting on. I know they showed interest.

Yeah but UK is not looking at him at all anymore. Maybe as a walk-on :)

Man everyone jumped me and tried to shame me bout how I didn't think he was uk material. Felt that twatter announcement of k State right after we lost to them was in poor taste. Board said that it wasn't on purpose, but oh well. Tandy was never UK material, there is confidence and there is arrogance. Cal can see through it all.

It's not real difficult to tell who you were talking about here. That was a pretty open secret.

If he does at this point thanks to his dad it will be as a walk on

I don’t think so. We have 3 available right now and I don’t see us next season with a full boat of ship players next season either. We re gonna need guards bc there will be an exodus after this season

I say don’t let the door hit you in the asp as your dad leaves the building. Feel sorry for the kid. Just proves that Cal don’t take no **** from lavar ball wannabe’s.

With the insane amount of open scholarships that are going to be available (most likely), I'm not against forgiving and forgetting if Cal thinks he will fit into the puzzle.

He was probably headed for a UK scholly, but, Dad committed the cardinal sin, and with Calipari we all know he backs away when a parent tries to make demands, or be forceful. I bet he ends up at Louisville, Western, or Vanderbilt.
