That IS the conversation. Hear me conversing? Ulis played 2 seasons and I take that into consideration. His teams outperformed Wall's team. Now physically, Wall is a more imposing athlete, but that's not the debate. Ulis has point guard skills and basketball IQ that rival Wall's. See, it's a conversation and we can disagree.

I enjoyed watching Tyler run the point more than I enjoyed John Wall. Maybe it is a "wanting the little guy to do good" but he had that excitement about him that made the game rise to another level.

I hope he does well in the future but many have pointed out his weakness and that is a lot to overcome.

I brought up Chalmers because he was on the list of available free agent point guards.

That wasn't even close to the joke. I'm sure someone else knows what I was talking about.

Chalmers was blasted on RR when he played at Kansas. Dude graduated in 2008.

It's very reasonable to state Ulis might have been the best "college" pg Cal has had at UK. He had arguably the best season as a sophomore of any pg Cal has had here. It's ok to disagree with that, but to say it's out of the question is just wrong.

Compare the numbers of Walls frosh year and Ulis sophomore year chief. Wall was not on another level. He played differently, yes, but they were pretty much even in their impact on the games. You must be exhausting to actually be around.

They had about the same numbers. John Wall played on a 35-3 team, Tyler Ulis played on a 27-9 team. If Wall played on that team he would've put up 25 points a game. He's on another level than Ulis. Numbers are meaningless, Randolph Morris as a junior put up similar numbers to Anthony Davis and KAT but no one would claim he's in their league.

I think this is the issue we're having here. I watched a different Ulis than everyone else apparently. The Ulis I saw at UK shot 34% from 3, you guys saw a sniper.

The talent and size level in the NBA is a bit too much for Tyler. That being said, he could be a real star overseas. That’s probably what he should consider.

When I see what the upcoming NBA Training Camp rosters look like, then I will be surprised if Ulis' name isn't on one. He's a winner. I think Phoenix was stupid to let him walk.

Seems he coasted last season and didn’t work hard or well with everyone.
Which I would have never thought of him as being that way... hope he learned his lesson and makes it.

He will keep working and isn’t that far off from having a long NBA career. He don’t have to be a starter or even the 6th or 7th man,. He will find a good fit with a team and play for a long time. Actually he’s only about 5% off on his outside shooting to become a nice rotation player. I don’t know Tyler personally but from what I’ve seen and do know about him is he’s a fighter and nothing has stopped him yet. Of course this is my opinion, but I also have had the league pass for the last few years and hardly miss any of his games . I have saw a player that is hard to keep off the court. He has had a little bit of a learning curve in the league but he won’t quit and he will find the right team and will play a lot of NBA basketball.
