He might average even more than 5.1 blocked shots a game.
Yeah.He might average even more than 5.1 blocked shots a game.
Kev, put down the bottle and go to bed.He might average even more than 5.1 blocked shots a game.
If I had a nickel..That’s deep.
Where’s the fun in that?Kev, put down the bottle and go to bed.
Do you need to borrow a nickel? I can help.If I had a nickel..
National champs. He might average even more than 5.1 blocked shots a game.
Actually, I have no doubt this team wins the title. That’s why I’m just having fun in 90% of my posts lately.National champs.
You’re a man/woman/ transgender of few words.Nope.

There’s absolutely potential concern about the interior defense. Cal needs shot blockers for his defense to work and this roster might not have any.Actually, I have no doubt this team wins the title. That’s why I’m just having fun in 90% of my posts lately.
Absolutely nothing to be concerned about except for possible injuries, and every team has that concern.
Herro is going surprise a lot of our fans. Creates his shot better than anyone on this team!!
I think he's big enough, athletic enough and seems like a tough kid. He's bigger stronger and more athletic than Quade at the 2, maybe not as experienced but I got a good feeling about this kid because his scoring ability!!!Offense isn't going to be the issue for Herro, IMHO. The question he has to answer is: can he guard anyone?
If he can play defense, then he'll get plenty of minutes.
UK worse team defensively was probably the Noel team. I am pretty sure we've had good defenses the last two years without much shot blocking. There’s absolutely potential concern about the interior defense. Cal needs shot blockers for his defense to work and this roster might not have any.
Still think we’re the team to beat, but there’s always concerns.
Hope they don't wait till 2019 to score. We're toast if that happens.[winking]not that scoring is everything ... but it is July

That's pretty close to what I was thinking. I doubt that anyone averages more than 15 a game and we have 5 or 6 averaging double figures. My guesstimate:
Travis- 13
Washington- 12
Johnson-11
Hagans- 10
Montgomery- 10
Quickley- 7
Green- 7
Richards- 4
Herro- 3
Baker- 2
Richards at 20 mpg is almost as crazy as Richards as 4th leading scorer at 8.5.15.3 Travis
15.3 Washington
9.7 Green
8.5 Richards
8.4 Hagans
8.4 Johnson
8.2 Montgomery
5.6 Herro
5.0 Quickley
1.7 Baker
This is numerically based. Assuming mintues go 28.8, 30, 25, 20, 25, 21.3, 20, 13.1, 13.1, & 2 respectively
It also assumes slight improvements in shooting by non-Fr.
It also assumes makes assumptions about shot attempts, partially based on last year.
PJ & Travis will make a lot of FT line visits, I've got them for 12 FTA/gm combined. Those 2 will also take the most FGA at 10.7 & 10.4 per-gm. Green is the only other player (7.7) who will attempt more than 6 FGA/gm.
Signed, Kevin Knox.Offense isn't going to be the issue for Herro, IMHO. The question he has to answer is: can he guard anyone?

Signed, Kevin Knox.

They both know how to score. Knox rarely D’ed up. We will see if Herro can/will. But that doesn’t mean he won’t play if he doesn’t. I think Cal has changed his tune some as evidenced by all these shooters on the team. He’s seen what Nova has been able to do with capable shooters all over the place and less emphasis on D. Part of what makes a great coach is the ability to adapt. Hopefully Cal is because the game has changed.LOL!
Yeah, Herro and Knox are essentially the same players. [pfftt]

Thanks for being first to actually respond to question !!My guesstimate:

Probably but keep in mind that Lamb, Booker and SGA were 4 star guards and they played plenty. Booker was a great shooter the first half of the year but couldn't guard a statue. Lamb and SGA were pretty good defenders. In the end Cal will play the best players on both sides of the ball.
We will see which guards will play.
Just based on most of the previous seasons, it will likely be the 5-star guys.
