Shorts:

- Always love Wednesday because it means I can have a few drinks tonight. Have a hard rule against casual drinking Sunday-Tuesday. The little things...

- Man, I’m craving some fried chicken.

- Listening to the 247 CFB podcast today which is horrible but they have the gridiron Cats with only one SEC win. Started to get pissed but then remembered we’re UK and why should we ever get respect?

- Not big of either of the royal wives but Meghan >>>>>> Kate and it’s not even close.

- Will be up at Mt. Adams Pavilion for a bday party this weekend, getting nostalgic about the summer of 2004 when BBdK would take a half a dozen jagerbombs and fire on anything that walked.

- Only good thing about July/August, the beginning of cool mornings in the 60s hinting at fall.

- We’re weeks away from Oktoberfest brews dropping. :scream:

- How’s my boy Will doing these days?

Spurs got rid of a malcontent superstar coming off an injury, without sending him directly to a conference rival, and got an All-Star with multiple years left on a decent contract in return.

Buford and Pop are unreal. Everyone else, except maybe Danny Ainge, would have touched this situation up beyond belief.

Toronto is an amazing city, and "off the radar" for Leonard, which is what he prefers. The Raptors were on the way out with DeRozan, so sounds like it works out for both parties.

That Vermont weed thread is pretty amazing. It’s a never ending string of replies that just keep repeating themselves — 99% of respondents rejoicing, while Bill Derington insists the world is going to Hell in a hand basket, one joint at a time.

Some freaking people, man. The absolute worst.
:joy:

What a *****.

I mean I think it’s important to bring attention to big injustices- say a man being unjustly killed by police, sexual predation, etc. - but it seems 10 times a day I’m seeing posts about some ******** like a waiter being treated poorly by some *******. This stuff is posted by news sites too. Yeah it sucks buddy- like it sucked when I dealt with the same **** from some river rat while waiting tables at Remingtons back in 2000. Brush it off and move on. ******** exist. They will always exist.

I did enjoy reading about the guy who called the cops due to a hard screen though. Made me feel better about myself, albeit for a fleeting moment.

Speaking of social media outrage, how about Josh Hader's tweets from when he was 17 getting released during the All-Star game last night? N-Bombs, Gafs, #MeToo offenses, the works.

I'll give people a pass for saying stupid crap when they are 17, but what freaking planet does this guy live in where he never once thought to himself, "wow, a lot of people seem to get in hot water over tweets, maybe I should go back and delete the tweets where I just said 'KKK' or perhaps the one where I said 'I'm a triply n-word'"?

I can't believe those ******** get together and go watch their favorite team play. The nerve...

I hope they have a good time.

Meanwhile, first place FC Cincinnati plays Charleston on ESPN2 tonight.
