This. I had been reading along in disbelief at the terrible fruit takes and Strokin comes along and nails it.
Fresh pineapple is the bomb and tastes like sunshine, but spring sunshine, not miserable middle of summer, blazing hot, high humidity sunshine.
Absolutely delicious in a Mai Tai. A real Mai Tai, that is, one preferably served at a decent bar in Hawaii and not one of those ghetto-*** Florida ones made with generic rum and pineapple picked 45 days before.
Grilled pineapple is WAF.

- Will be up at Mt. Adams Pavilion for a bday party this weekend, getting nostalgic about the summer of 2004 when BBdK would take a half a dozen jagerbombs and fire on anything that walked.
- Only good thing about July/August, the beginning of cool mornings in the 60s hinting at fall.
- We’re weeks away from Oktoberfest brews dropping. :scream:

Toronto is an amazing city, and "off the radar" for Leonard, which is what he prefers. The Raptors were on the way out with DeRozan, so sounds like it works out for both parties.

Do we really need to be reminded every day on social media that a-holes exist? Yeah man, I know they’re out there. I’m aware.We all run into them every now and again. Brush it off and keep on moving.
It’s important to raise awareness, but more importantly to draw attention to ones self...and to be outraged, and triggered.
Social media is awful. Mostly because it involves people, who are also awful.
I mean I think it’s important to bring attention to big injustices- say a man being unjustly killed by police, sexual predation, etc. - but it seems 10 times a day I’m seeing posts about some ******** like a waiter being treated poorly by some *******. This stuff is posted by news sites too. Yeah it sucks buddy- like it sucked when I dealt with the same **** from some river rat while waiting tables at Remingtons back in 2000. Brush it off and move on. ******** exist. They will always exist.
I did enjoy reading about the guy who called the cops due to a hard screen though. Made me feel better about myself, albeit for a fleeting moment.
