Congrats to Briscoe for making the Orlando Summer League Team!!
Hope it happens for him.I think he makes it at some point, and is a NBA backup for 3-6 years. That should earn him 7-figures (cumulative).
Knox is on the Knicks roster. Hope he plays all gamesIt's my understanding that there are 12 of our former players on NBA summer league teams. Anyone know who they are, & what teams they are with?
1:05 - 1:18 I'm not sure that kid will ever walk again...Good Lord...that first play was nasty.
Hit 39 percent from 3 overseas with not many attempts per game (a very good idea).Hot take...but I've never seen a Kentucky player finish at the rim better than Zay. That little crossover move...and then he'd blast to the rim and finish a layup at any angle...always felt like it was money.
The man could not shoot a lick and still averaged double figures for 2 seasons.
Congrats on your Fat Hami. Now go back to the dead dook boards.
Hope he makes it[/QUOTE
Hope who makes it? Briscoe's career or the kid in the video walking again?
I would put Wall ahead of him but Zay was a monster around the rim.Hot take...but I've never seen a Kentucky player finish at the rim better than Zay. That little crossover move...and then he'd blast to the rim and finish a layup at any angle...always felt like it was money.

Hope that carries over to the summer league.Looks like his form has gotten better.
If he can ever shoot it half way decent he will stick somewhere. The guy was a ferocious defender and really slippery with the ball.
Hope that carries over to the summer league.
“All the Kentucky questions, I don’t play for Kentucky no more!” Briscoe yelped. “I’m just trying to start fresh.”
“I enjoyed my time at Kentucky, it was fine, but I moved on,” he said, declaring that his pro position will be point guard. “Obviously, I wasn’t playing point guard in college, but it is what it is. College is over with. Why we still talking about college? I’m starting a new chapter in my life.”

They were both much more fat and worse than fans were expecting too when they got to campus.Something about Briscoe reminded me of Crawford maybe in the way he went at the rim

Agreed. That's really the whole issue for Briscoe. He's got many other intangibles. If he could shoot it consistently, he's a sure-fire NBA point guard. He's probably not a starter, but he's a guy you could bring in and he can help the team. IF he can shoot. I'll cheer him on.Haven't seen much of his game since leaving UK. Hopefully he latches on. He's going to need a more consistent jumper, hopefully he's worked on and found it.
Sooo... you chose to try to hijack a generally positive thread by cherry picking 2 of his worst games?
Ok, lemme give it a shot...
I think you missed my point and it's cool that you disagree, but Briscoe washed his hands of UK when he left. "I don't play for Kentucky no more" so I washed my hands of him. If he doesn't care that he played for UK, then I don't care what he does in the future.
