R U Excited About Our Team?

I believe with Reid and PJ leading this team we will jell by January. Hagans, Johnson and EJ are alpha dogs. Add in Herro and Baker hitting threes and let’s not forget Richards. I believe Richards will improve drastically because of Reid and EJ kicking his *** in practice. You know I love Cal, our team and BBN and yes I wear blue tinted glasses, but I just believe we have all the pieces this year. Will we go undefeated, no. I do think any loses will make this team give more of themselves. I’m guessing 4 losses at the most 2 at the least. Say what you will about this team but they are hungry and a hungry team is always a dangerous advisory.

How were you not more excited about 2015? I'm excited but there are still so many question marks. None of our guards/wings minus Green have played a minute of CBB and Green is no stud. PJ is our returning big and he's good but definitely no stud. The only one proven to be a stud is Travis and that was in a weaker conference (though I think he'll be a stud here too). Just don't get the over-excitement I'm seeing. Yes, I'm excited, but I don't get how everyone is expecting a NC.

I never really get excited over a collection of players. We have a very good group, no doubt but we have no clue as to how they will do as a team. We have no clue as to how well the freshmen will adapt to the speed of play. All this will become clearer in November and December. For now I’m just happy to have a roster.

That is alot of hindsite. Esp that most believe Johnson is very MKG like. Um at least 3 guards on this team capable of producing at the level of Bledso. So no we don't have a Wall or a Bledsoe but unlike that 2010 team we got guys who can shoot. No we don't have a Cousins instead we have 2 ridiculously strong guys with more than one year under their belt. So chances are two guys can get the same production as one especially considering one of those already averaged as much as cousins in a major conference. No we don't have MKG but we did get the guy in Johnson who is as close as it comes. Throw in Hagans and Johnson both play with that MKG chip on their shoulder think we will be ok. Now no we don't have an Anthony Davis either but neither does anyone else. What we are that the 2012 team wasn't is deep. What we can do that the 2010 team couldn't do is shoot

Going to be a fun season. Lots of high profile games and we got a great deal of talented players. Can't wait for the season to begin. Go Cats!
