Yup, TS. Just the other weekend I was Otw to Chicago and my headrest tv wasn’t working. Ask for a Woodford from the effeminate one and he’s all, “Hun, your tv not working?” I said no but I was watching my Ipad anyway so it’s perfectly fine.

“Not on my plane it’s not perfectly fine. Here’s two Woodfords on us.”[banana]

Boarding a plane may be the best people watching scenarios you can find anywhere. The lack of f's given by some, the disregard for anyone else around them, the entitled c-words that are stuck in coach but act like it's a private jet. Then people like me that wait until the end to board so I can see the sheer disappointment wash over the face of the poor soul in the middle seat that just realized they aren't getting to sit in the aisle.

One of my favorites recently was this old, snooty lady that spent .4 of a second trying to fit her suitcase in the overhead before throwing in the towel and leaving it for someone else to handle. I'm waiting, watching, headphones on mute and then it happens.

"Whose is this?" "Hello, people, whose suitcase is this that is sticking out of the bin?" Finally the lady turns around and murmurs something probably condescending.

The FA proceeds to lecture her on the proper technique of stowing suitcases in overhead bins loud enough for the entire plane to hear. No doubt, 100% intentional and to her credit, very professionally dressing this lady down with a nice, common sense lecture.

The lady balks, like it fits everywhere else.

The FA, having none of her **** proceeds to take her suitcase about 10 rows back to put it in an open bin. I swear to Allah I wanted to get up and applaud her because it was 5 less minutes I had to think about being trapped in a sardine can with fatback pouring over the armrest into my seat.

Under 2k, road/gravel bike to start. Gonna replace hitting the pavement 3x/week. Looking at Trek Checkpoint ALR 5.
You can get a hell of a bike for under that. I like the idea of going with a frame that will allow you to swap tires from gravel to road but do you have a gravel or reasonable course around you?

It's one of those things that takes several attempts before you feel comfortable and confident. Also, expect a few hundred in accessories(clothes, helmet, shoes, cleats, pedals, tools, tubes, glasses) to get started. After initial cost it's not bad at all.

You can blame anti-discrimination laws for male flight attendants. There was a sex discrimination case in the early 80's against Southwest Airlines where Southwest argued that sex appeal was a "bona fide occupational qualification" of being a flight attendant. That argument failed (unsurprisingly) .

What kind of savage rides bikes on gravel?

Glad we got Coach Mathew on KSRadio the moment Travis Reid commits. #Blesst. #Metoo.

Let me get out in front of the sports writers March narratives, CALS MERCENARIES ARE RUINING COLLEGE BASKETBALL.

Will make as much sense as worrying about the sexual orientation of your flight attendants.

* The modern day flight attendant is typically a ***** who likes to travel (which is all of them, basically).

* Speaking of which, the new ***** Eye for the Straight Guy is fantastic, but they get WAY too preachy about social agenda issues.

* Cyborg is on Amazon Prime now. You're welcome.

* Went for an 800-meter swim yesterday. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge. Barely survived.

- swim 50
- hang onto the edge of the pool for 5 minutes catching my breath
- wash out goggles
- repeat 15 more times

Great workout.

* Xxxtentaction. What a name. Serious question --> how do these fools actually make money? I mean, I guess he had some big hits or whatever (per Wikipedia), but Lambo $$? What bozo is approving that loan?

Shows/clubs, mostly. Those young dudes hustle.

Album sales/streams to a lesser extent. I mean, Dude's 3 biggest songs on Spotify Alone:

377 MILLION streams
282 MILLION streams
239 MILLION streams

He's got WELL over a billion streams altogether, and at .0084 per stream (which is apparently what Spotify pays), there's $8.4 million right there. Again, that's just Spotify streams.

He won't see all of that, or most of it even, but I'd say he had plenty to drop cash for a Lambo.

Edit: He also had a reported 6 million dollar deal from Capitol Records.

Also, most young musicians sign terrible deals. So they get huge budgets from record companies, but they own nothing. A leased Lambo is a good investment for a record company to make it look like their artists are killing it. Meanwhile, their advance is the only money they'll ever see unless they turn into legit superstars

Normally I trust your knowledge of the musical industry, but I've never heard of the guy, and I listen to Pandora A LOT.

He's never showed up on Tyler Childers radio, Turnpike Troubadours radio, Reckless Kelly radio, *or* Chris Knight radio. Not buying it, bro. The guy was a nobody.

I can't name one of his songs, but there are 50 other guys just like him doing the exact same thing. You severely underestimate the power of social media/internet & these dude's rabid fanbases when it comes to this 'new' era of garbage emo rap.

who/wtf is that???

Music, by and large, is TERRIBLE. I mean, that white rapper chick from Australia has been nominated for *four* Grammys. Just awful. Direct reflection of the average American, unfortunately.

NAS dropped (Nas!!?) and I ain't heard a peep about nothing from it, and I don't really feel an urge to go listen to it, so I guess I just dgaf. Emo rappers won. They have officially taken over and ruined rap.

SoundCloud rappers is a term I'd never heard of until that XXTentaciaeonaez6969 got shot. It's bizarre and makes me feel incredibly old.

I had never even heard of that rappin' rascal until my 15-year-old took a break from playing Fortnite to tell me a rapper got shot today, whose name he couldn't really pronounce, and that his friend was devastated. I told him I'd never heard of him (obviously), and chuckled at his buddy being distraught. I let him know he should get used to rappers dying, it's what they do.

* Reid Travis sounds like a cauc from an Ivy League-ish school, too. Always nice to land a Dukie type amongst the rest of our players, who of course all hate school, don't give af about Kentucky, are only in this for themselves, etc.

* We're far enough into this one-and-done thing that there's enough info out there -- you can't really win with ALL one-and-dones, but you don't need a bunch of seniors to do it, either. Cal's best teams have returned a lot of talent from the previous season, and this bunch is gonna be right there in the mix with his best ever.

* We straight nightmares.

My hs buddy Euge (black mike's bro) had the whitest dad of all time. He used to insist rappers "were nothing but a bunch of criminals." Sounded exactly like an Eddie Murphy pretending to be a white dude skit.

You're basically That Guy now. Congrats.
