Making it worse is he's lying to everyone saying he knew it was tied....no he didn't. Unlike normal people, JR Smith doesn't understand there are cameras and didn't take any superior lip reading to see him mouth to Lebron "I thought we had the lead".
I think he said "I thought we were up" still a historic dumb *** play

You could be right--hell I initially thought it was "I thought we were ahead" but no matter, it was something to the equivalent of him thinking they had the lead, everyone saw it and everyone can read his mouth--when Lebron death glared him.

I wish Kendrick Perkins would enter Game 2 simply to take out Draymond Green.

And yet all that had to happen was for a professional basketball player - a point guard making $57 million for three years - to hit a FREETHROW that we expect 6th graders to make and they likely win. George Hill is the luckiest guy since the Cubs' shortstop who booted the DP ball after Bartman interfered with the catch.

I just heard Jason Williams say on "Get Up" that JR Smith "isn't the most cerebral player in the league." Like Evel Knievel Williams is a Rhodes Scholar? [roll]

He did go to Duke and they, along with UNC, are the greatest colleges for student athletes to get a quality education.

It was dumb, but he made a big play to get the offensive rebound in the first place.

If he doesn’t get the rebound, GS probably gets to draw up a final play. If he has good recognition and gets a shot up, no guarantee he hits it with Durant lurking.

So it was a stupid play, but in the history of stupid plays, I’ve seen a lot worse.

Can't spell choke with Lechoke. In all seriousness, I kind of wish the Cavs would have won. The refs were awful down the stretch.
Is this worse than the Weber timeout?

J.R. Smith has been and continues to be one of the biggest jokes in NBA history.

He punked a veteran Kenyon Martin years ago and almost was beaten to death as a result. He's a jerk and I'm glad his legacy is tarnished forever. A scum bag UNC commit as well.

The next decade? I think Lebron is still playing his best ball...still the top guy in the league. I think he has at least 3 years left of elite level play...but 10 years?

If he goes to a good roster and gets a chance to rest he could extend it five years but I agree he has three more elite runs left as is.

I would bet Lebron is at the top of his game for maybe 3-5 more years like you said. IMO he will win 1 more maybe 2 but he has to get the F out of Cleveland .

Bashing aside, they weren't winning this series anyways.

Lebron will leave and form a super team and people will proclaim accolades on him if he wins more titles.

How did I have to scroll down for 5 minutes before seeing a Chris Weber reference? What's wrong witj you all? " Friends don't let friends pull a Weber" needs to be updated.
